It's the setting that sets us apart. We're located on the waterside of the ocean view section of Camden's historic district, with spectacular glass walled views of Camden's only two castles and the sea, right from your bed! Count the stars across the bay and wake up to bold Maine Coast views. Bright and airy charm of classic 1856 cape architecture, wide pine floors, beams, clawfoot tubs, skylights, ceiling fans and stained glass. Private balconies.

This is a small B&B - located close enough to town to enjoy a walk to all the shops and restaurants. You can relax in the peaceful backyard or enjoy the unbelievable views from the upper and lower decks. Bill the owner is a wonderful host and will steer you right on selections for restaurants and things to do in Camden. This is not a fancy place but it had I all I needed for a relaxing and wonderful visit to Camden.
While here, this guest explained that she had looked at the Inn on line for many many months and finally "just had to come" because she was so intrigued. While I'm not sure what this guest fancies as "not fancy" as she calls the Inn, after all her many many views, she certainly knew we were a historic inn so probably not "fancy" like a newer Inn might be. We are not glitzy. Her comment of "not fancy" was most likely actually meant as a compliment. We strive for a special ambiance which always elicits much praise, but "not fancy" isn't the usual description we get. as it may infer something the guest did not intend to, and that we are not.
