    Grindstone Cottage, Distinctive and Authentic log style summer home. Two bedrooms, living room with wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, full bath. This is old Maine at its best. Nestled in the trees yet with a view of the ocean beyond.
    Authenticity and good taste. This king sized bed is in one of the bedrooms in Crow's Nest Cottage. Pillowtop, luxury mattress and comfortable furnishings...this is a wonderful place for a family or a group of friends.     The view across the Bay toward the lighthouse and the Camden Hills. This is Herricks Landing on our property. It's on all the maps and was once where the steamboats off-loaded guests from the cities who summered here in the late 1800's.
    Fall foliage on the Maine Coast can be extraordinary! This is our view from Lone Pine Cottage in late fall. You can see Pumpkin Island Lighthouse, East Penobscot Bay and the distant Camden Hills dressed in the glow of fall.

    In a setting reminiscent of the casual, relaxed summers of yesteryear are ten distinctive, one-of-a-kind oceanfront vacation cottages. The cottages stretch along the shore of East Penobscot Bay and are located centrally to the Blue Hill Peninsula's activities, restaurants and attractions. On site are acres of woodlands and trails, beaches on lake and ocean, mowed fields, and magnificent overlooks. Cottages are sized for 1 to 6 people. Housekeeping and laying logs in your fireplace is provided on a daily basis. Welcome Breakfast Basket available. In the style of "Old Maine", we've been welcoming guests since 1889.

I am keeping our family's innkeeping tradition alive with the help of our children, staff, and friends.
