We just keep going back! The accomodations are superb; the view is one of the best overlooking the harbor; and Susan's home-cooked breakfasts, mouth-watering. (She'll go to great - and successful - lengths to acommodate special dietary needs, as well.) And then in addition to their inn-keeping qualities, Susan and Michael are truly wonderful people: they go the extra distance as a matter of course to ensure their guests experience the too-often overlooked bits that make a visitor's stay special. Thanks. We'll be back.

My wife and I visited the Welch House Inn, arriving May 5th and departing May 8th. The view from the room was more that we could have imagined. Michael and Susan were excellent hosts and we loved Susan's breakfasts. Each were lovingly prepared. There was so much to see and do in the area, even at this time of the year. We were so lucky that we had perfect weather. It was low in the 60's and sunny every day. I highly recommend a Spring Get-A-Way at the Welch House as it was an exceptional value.

What a Great Stay!!! This was one of the only Bed and Bath in the area to allow last minute booking, plus a room for three guests to stay in. The additional fee was only 25.00 which was not a bad price at all. We were greeted with a great Smile from Michael who gave us a short history of the place and other lying areas. He went as far to map out scenic areas plus historical sites and gave us the time distance involved in transit. A really nice bed and bath.... and before leaving, I knew I would be back. Terrell

Crustless Crabmeat Quiche
One of Susan's most popular creations is the crustless crabmeat quiche, made using locally caught fresh Maine crab. Its sweet taste and delicate texture are front and center, cradled in a soft, eggy/cheesy pillow that miraculously holds together without a crust.
