Penobscot Bay Inn on the spectacular mid-coast of Maine is a full service inn located on a five-acre retreat nestled on a hillside overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay. Our central location on US 1 makes travel in every direction easy and all premier attractions attainable in good time. The inn's 19 rooms are rated by AAA as Three Diamond lodging accommodations . All rooms have queen- or king-sized beds, private baths, telephones, cable TV and air conditioning. A hearty country breakfast is served daily in one of our three dining rooms or on the deck looking out on the bay. The Restaurant at Penobscot Bay Inn serves breakfast, lunch & dinner Wednesday through Sunday year round. Penobscot Bay Inn Tours offers airport pickups at both Portland and Bangor (please ask for fee schedule), motor couch tours of the entire midcoast of Maine and kayak and bicycle tour with or without a professional guide.

    The main hallway gives you access to all three dining rooms, the parlor as well as the five cottage guest rooms on the second floor.The Veranda is a popular spot for dining. You can either watch the boats on Penobscot Bay or, in the evening, see a wonderful sunset.
    The private dining room is great for groups of up to 10 for any meal. It offers a little privacy away from the bustle of the restaurant.In summer months, the deck offers outdoor dining with a view of Penobscot Bay. Enjoy any meal or just a drink, weather permitting.
