The Taggart House was constructed in 1850 by noted Stockbridge resident Henry Dwight Sedgwick. In the 60's Norman Rockwell frequented the previous owner. Recently added to the National Register of Historic Places, the Inn combines fine 19th century architecture with luxurious comfort and modern amenities. Including a/c, wireless, private baths,tv's, and more.

We were fortunate to find this lovely home on such short notice. August met us at the front door and immediately made us feel at home. Room was lovely, spacious and quite. French toast was best we have ever had. Great suggestions for walks and dinner. We could not have been happier ! Thanks, E & J

This is a beautiful mansion, especially for history lovers. It is like you are visiting one of the famous mansions you may tour in the Berkshire area. It is very clean and the best part is August, who offered hints for hiking trails and other attractions. The pleasant patio, where breakfast was served, added to a delightful experience for us. Marie
