I had the good fortune to stay with a friend after her birthday party in the conference center. Sleeping in the Gandhi room is a special treat. The Peace Abbey bed and breakfast is more than just an attractive, quaint and comfortable inn, it is an oasis of peace.

    Innkeeper Response
As one of the innkeepers it is wonderful to have such a positive review. I would like to clarify one point. Mother Teresa visited The Peace Abbey in 1988 but did not stay overnite, although her spirit remains with us both day and night.

Whenever I travel to the Greater Boston area, The Peace Abbey is my first choice for lodging. Lewis Randa and Dot Walsh do everything they can to make me feel welcome and at home - from showing me around the grounds, to sharing with me their latest projects, to offering me purified water with a squeeze of lemon, to lighting a fire for me in my bedroom fireplace. The Peace Abbey is well-named because it exudes peace. Over the decades, hundreds of thousands of people have prayed in the Peace Abbey's Multifaith chapel, and as you walk in there it is as though you are being embraced by those prayers. You feel as though you have come home. The Peace Abbey is really a place where you can lay down your burdens. I recommend it highly!
