Captain Stephen Skiff Chipman built the Greek Revival inn, circa 1850. This historic site has now been converted to the Captain Chipman Inn, and is listed with the Sandwich Historical Commission. The Inn is located perfectly for your visit to the Sandwich and Cape Cod area. You will be within walking distance of the historic Sandwich Village which includes museums, restaurants, shops and antiquing. The Sandwich Boardwalk and Town Neck Beach are only 1.5 miles away. The Inn has 3 guest rooms, each with their own private bathroom. In addition, there is extra space with a daybed and trundle, which is easily accessible from all three rooms. Your innkeepers Stacy and Rich Chiaramonte are committed to providing comfort and cleanliness to their guests, and look forward to hosting your stay in Sandwich, MA.

We planned to stay at Capt Chipman's Inn for 1 night, but we loved it there so much we ended staying 4 nights (and wish we were still there now! ha ha). Rich and Stacy were the perfect B&B hosts and Stacy's home-cooked breakfasts were absolutely delicious and varied everyday. We stayed in 2 of the rooms - they were decorated beautifully and the beds were lovely and comfy. The Captain's Quarters room has a view over the garden, pond and distant coast line. Sandwich is a lovely village and it's an easy drive to the numerous different places worth visiting in the area. If we ever return to the Cape, we know where we'll be heading!
