My partner and I have a fabulous time at Benchmark Inn. It is an up-to-date bed and breakfast, extremely clean and well kept. The staff is great and it is right in downtown P-town. We will definitely go back, possibly every year. Also, BEST coffee I've ever had! We stayed in one of the smallest rooms, but it was perfect for us. Big bathroom and again, can't emphasize enough how clean and modern yet still cozy this place is. Recommend it 100%.

Benchmark provided us a cozy, well-appointed space for a short getaway. The fireplace was a wonderful touch for mid-April. The bathroom was luxurious. The external staircase access to the room was a bonus, and we enjoyed sipping tea on the little balcony. We would definitely return!

Our room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace at the foot of the bed took the chill off a cold evening. We had breakfast both mornings and Don saw to it that we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious btw. We were a (very) short walk from Commercial Street. We shopped and dined at some really great places. I was sorry we had to leave on Sunday but plan to return to the Benchmark as soon as possible.

I was surprised about the breakfast only being a cold continental breakfast, but the rooms were nice. Not sure if I'd stay here again, but it was close to the Mews Restaurant which was fantastic and Don who was running the place in the off-season was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, relaxing rooms. We came off-season (January) and found the B&B to be quite charming. Don was very welcoming and quick to offer helpful suggestions while most of the town was shut-down. The breakfasts were simple (toast, cereal, ham, etc). Parking was a bit of a chore due to the small area; it was free but tight. However I would definitely come again; the place was just what I needed/wanted to relax.
