We had a wonderful time at this charming and homey Inn. Innkeeper Lyn even called to arrange an island tour for us picked up at the front door! Chatted with other friendly guests throughout the day. It was a great experience and we highly recommend it to visitors to Nantucket.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Centerboard! Darling bread and breakfast and the innkeeper Lyn, is really a nice person who I liked so much over the phone that I decided I wanted to stay there before I even saw their website! Very accommodating and more than we expected!

From the moment we walked into this lovely Victorian home, we were treated like royalty, or even better, as the very favorite members of the family. Our innkeeper, Lyn, was warm, welcoming, and so very knowledgeable about the island. Reservations were swiftly made, suggestions for activities were spot on, and anything we needed for our adventures was swiftly provided. I haven't even mentioned the most amazing part of our stay, the breakfasts and homemade treats at teatime were absolutely out of this world! Lyn is a fabulous cook and takes such pride in providing a healthy, satisfying, and delicious start to her guests' day. We highly recommend this gem of an inn.

Lyn, the innkeeper could not have been more gracious and helpful. Our room was lovely, the location was a short walk from excellent restaurants, shops and the beach. Breakfasts were a feast of baked goods and fresh fruit. The porch and reception areas are comfortable and welcoming and we enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Centerboard Inn in Nantucket.

The Centerboard Guesthouse is a perfect, quaint little inn on a quintessential Nantucket street... It has the cozy, historical charm you likely are looking for during a visit to such a lovely island... It was exactly what we were looking for, and were quite pleased with our luck in finding availability here on a holiday weekend... The guesthouse itself is charming on its own, but when you add the lovely innkeeper, Lyn, into the picture, the appeal is that much greater! Lyn is an absolute doll and was such a treat to bump into on our various trips in and out throughout the day. She's warm, gracious, and went out of her way to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and were comfortable. Whether it's helping you make dinner reservations, loaning you beach chairs and towels, or letting you keep your overbearing suitcases under her watch before or after your check-in/out, she was incredibly hospitable to us throughout our stay.... and let's not forget to mention the delicious fresh-baked scones, cookies, and pastries morning and afternoon with tea! It was a pleasure staying at the Centerboard Guesthouse and Lyn makes it her business that each passerby feels at home during their Nantucket experience.... Innkeepers like Lyn are few and far between and I would highly recommend a visit to this gem! I will look forward to visiting again!

Centerboard Guest House is a fantastic place to stay on Nantucket. It is just a quick walk to Main Street, the waterfront, shops and restaurants, yet is is removed from a lot of the noise and congestion of downtown. Lyn was a marvelous host, from her delicious baked goods and granola, to even adding extra foam padding to the sofa bed mattress to increase comfort! My back sure appreciated that! Thanks Lyn!! She also had lots of good suggestions for activities on the island. All in all, it was a great place to stay. Our only regret was that the weekend went too fast! Would definitely stay here again.

Embarking on our first family vacation with our 15 month year old son had us a little weary at first. However from the moment we arrived at Centerboard our minds were put at ease. Arriving on the last ferry on a Sunday it took us about a 3 minutes ride to get to this wonderful B&B. We were immediately greeted with warm hospitality by Lyn and established ourselves in Suite 1. So happy with our choice in rooms given that we have such an active little boy who likes to run around and explore, because this 2 room suite has plenty of space as the only room on the first floor. As for our stay on the island, every morning we awoke quite early given the rising habits of our little one and were off to explore the island by foot. Centerboard is conveniently located just at the edge of all the shopping and restaurants. It was just a quick walk to two lovely beaches, the kids park, downtown views and lovely walks checking out the beautiful Nantucket homes. The morning breakfast was delicious every morning with scrumptious baked items and for our little man Lyn made daily hard boiled eggs since he absolutely loves egg whites. Every afternoon we also we able to enjoy tea time with fresh baked cookies after our son's afternoon nap. Lyn was also very knowledgeable about activities to do on the island even though she has only been there a few months. We would definitely stay at Centerboard again and would highly recommend it to anyone with or without little ones in their party.

We had two adults and a 3 year old in our party, and we stayed in room 7. The room was beautiful and clean. We arrived late on Friday night on the last ferry, and the inn was a short walk from the Steamship Authority. Lyn and her daughter were eager to get us to our room and settled, and we had a pitcher of hot water for cocoa and cookies waiting for us. A cute little teddy bear was perched on our pillows just waiting for my daughter. We enjoyed the continental breakfast on Saturday morning of fresh fruit, yogurt and granola, and some yummy baked goods. The little one was happy with cheerios and milk. The inn is within walking distance of town, and we took advantage of this on Saturday evening when we walked to town for dinner. Lyn was gracious enough to handle a small plumbing issue we had on Sunday morning. As we left for the day, Lyn offered to hold our bags for us until our ferry that evening, but we had a car to store them in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay which was priced well for Daffodil weekend for a place so close to town. The restaurant across the street - American Seasons - was busy on Friday and Saturday night. It is supposed to be great, but not the ideal location for dinner with little kids. Would definitely stay here again!
