    Memorable Stay

    October 26, 2011

In the middle of August 2011, we stayed three days in this beautiful place. Our room (Starboard Home) this was very nice with large private balcony overlooking the port. What a wonderful view of the hundreds of boats at sunset with the soft breeze! The hospitality of our hostess Becky were friendly and memorable. Breakfast was excellent, varied and plentiful. We hope to return to Marblehead and of course we will not hesitate to stay at Becky's B&B. This place is recommendable a hundred percent. Thank you Becky. Michel & Denise / Montréal Québec

    Best B&B in Marblehead

    October 17, 2011

We recently spent a weekend with Becky at Marblehead on Harbor and we could not have chosen a better B&B. Becky's place was built in 1881 so it has all the charm of Old Town but is on Marblehead Neck so you get beautiful views across the harbor back to Marblehead. And we didn't have the parking issues you are sure to encounter in Old Town. We enjoyed breathtaking sunsets ,which included the firing of cannons at sundown from Marblehead, on the deck overlooking the beach and harbor and were lucky enough to be there for the full moon on a clear night which provided an even more stunning view of the harbor and Old Town. Becky's hospitality was the warmest we have ever experienced and she was very accommodating during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious Starboard Home room with its private deck along with the generous and varying breakfast each morning. With the warmth, the views, the hospitality, Marblehead on Harbor has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing getaway to Marblehead. We cannot wait to go back. Thank you again, Becky! Great Stay

    August 03, 2011

This is a charming B&B and Becky the hostess could not be more welcoming and friendly. The views are to die for. We stayed for 3 nights utilising 2 of the rooms including the single room for our daughter and had a most delightful stay in this beautifully appointed guest house, stuffed with period furniture and antiques. The views from our room and the porch are quite outstanding, and Becky was a lovely host whose local knowledge and help was very much appreciated. Breakfast was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommended, and we would go back there again.

    Charming!

    June 27, 2011

We spent a weekend at Marblehead on Harbor and couldn't be more pleased. If you love old houses as I do, this beautiful home on is filled with delights--antiques, creaky stairways, wonderful windows, paintings, lots of books, porches and fresh flowers. Our room looked out over the harbor and even though an air conditioner was in the room a refreshing breeze was almost always present so we never needed the AC. The bathroom, which is down a short staircase, had the original marble sink, and I was afraid the shower would have minimal pressure and be a disappointment. It was not--the shower was a pleasant experience and the personal care products were elegant. Breakfast was simple but certainly adequate, and Becky was a most considerate hostess, having a bottle of wine chilled for our arrival and going out of her way to answer our questions about the area and making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely return for another visit!

    Homey and Terrific Views

    May 31, 2011

We spent a pleasant two nights at this lovely home. The location can't be beat in its harbor views. Short drive to downtown Marblehead and Salem make days trips and dining easy. Becky is a terrific host with afternoon treats and menu considerations for all sorts of dietary/allergy needs. Our room was pleasant though not yet air conditioned for the season and it was quite warm - fortunately we kept the slider open to our private deck and got a lovely breeze. The only surprise was learning the private bath was not en suite but across a short hallway - just required a little more effort but certainly not a detriment to our trip.
