Kathi has certainly made her B&B extra special. The place is gorgeous tucked deep in the woods- what a delightful surprise!

Kathie is a warm and dedicated host. This place is a sanctuary. New, clean, modern with your own in room heating unit control, hot shower, and your own private porch. At night it is country dark. It feels like it's just you and the stars. In the morning you can look forward to Kathie's breakfast, no need to eat anywhere else. Head into Brattleboro, VT just a short drive and eat at the Whetstone Station. Great Food!

I can't say enough positive things about this little cabin in the woods! My boyfriend and I wanted a quiet night out of the city and this was perfect. The cabin itself is beautiful, clean, and cozy. The owner greeted us at the door and was more the hospitable during out 1 night stay. Breakfast is included and was delicious. There are only 2 rooms, each with their own private bath and porch. We will definitely be returning!

My husband & I stayed one night at this beautiful Log Cabin Bed & Breakfast. It has 2 rooms, so it was quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable accommodations and kept very clean! The innkeeper Kathie was so nice and makes a mean pancake with freshly squeezed oj. Their 3 fenced in sheep were very amusing. There was a deck with 2 chairs off of our room which looked out into the woods which was very serene. We also saw a mother deer with her two fawns. I definitely recommend trying this place and plan on returning!! Angela & Shawn

I had a lovely time: The room was fresh and clean with a variety of pillows and TV option and a little porch area if I wanted to sit outside. Everything was clean and neat, and our host was extremely accommodating; we had access to a variety of games and snacks all evening. We just spent one night so we didn't explore the grounds much, but having three friendly sheep in a pen at the back was a treat -- they're not noisy and are happy if you feed them (but make sure to get the feed from your host). Additionally, special accommodations were made for our breakfast in the morning, which was homemade and served hot and fresh. Couldn't really ask for more. Definitely worth the visit!

My husband and I stayed at the Log Cabin Bed & Breakfast for a romantic weekend getaway. The whole weekend exceeded my expectations. Kathie, the hostess, cooked us a delicious, fresh breakfast both mornings of our stay. In addition, the bed was one of the most comfortable beds in which I've ever slept. And my husband especially enjoyed the sheep in the back of the house. There is a Keurig machine in the kitchen that Kathie encourages her guests to use as often as they'd like. I loved how I could have as much coffee as I wanted without having to bother anyone to get it for me. :) The house was delightfully located down a dirt road away from the hustle and bustle of life, but yet only a short drive away from some lovely hiking paths and reasonable dining options. I honestly don't have a bad word to say about our stay at the Log Cabin, and I would definitely go back for another visit.

This was the last stop on a week-long jaunt around the area where MA, NH and VT converge, and we (my husband and I) definitely saved the best for last! Kathie was a gracious host who was easy to talk to and provided some good recommendations of things to do/places to eat in the area, but was never intrusive - she was also just as happy to let me sit quietly undisturbed, reading a book in the beautiful and spacious common area. Our room was clean and welcoming, with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in, and the breakfasts were to die for. Pumpkin pancakes one morning, french toast the next, both paired with fresh fruit, real maple syrup, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Definitely the best breakfasts of our vacation! And this review would not be complete without a shout-out to the sheep. They were so fun to watch, I almost wanted to smuggle one home with me. :) If you are looking for a relaxing getaway off the beaten path, give the Log Cabin a try!

The Leyden Log Cabin B&B is the perfect cozy little place to stay on the MA/VT border. Kathie made us feel right at home in her beautiful (new construction) home that is clean and well-kept. The place even smells the way you'd imagine a log cabin should smell. Breakfast was very good, the area is beautiful (don't miss the farm around the corner or the nearby lake) and the rooms were spacious, well-stocked and modern. Kathie gave us privacy when we wanted it, and chatted with us (and had some great recommendations in the area) when we were ready. The private porch was a great feature, and the 3 sheep that live on the property were well-behaved and a fun addition to the whole experience. Highly recommended.

The Log Cabin Bed and Breakfast is a unique B&B that provides a peaceful, secluded getaway. The innkeeper is pleasant/welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The B&B is off the beaten path and tucked away deep in the woods and perfect for those looking to escape the real world and enjoy this lovely New England area. I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the vicinity and will certainly be heading back at some point in the future.

This Bed and Breakfast was really wonderful to stay in. It's set back in the woods with beautiful surroundings. The Log Cabin is very clean and Kathie is a great hostess. We felt comfortable during our stay and are looking to come back again in a few months. The breakfast was great on both mornings of our stay, and she was great about my vegetarian diet. The beds are very comfortable, the communal area is cozy and inviting with a fireplace, books and games. When we were looking for somewhere nice to eat dinner Kathie was very helpful in suggesting places to go. I would totally reccomend this bed and breakfast to others and definetly plan on coming back to stay again! :)
