We really enjoyed our stay at the Cornell Inn. Our room was just as pictured online. Everyone was friendly and the location is great. We will definitely be coming back.

The rooms are spacious, lots of room to relax, plenty of light from the windows. The bathroom was clean and good. The gardens surroundings the buildings are both beautiful and relaxing. The breakfasts had a variety of good foods and were so filling we went without worrying about being hungry until late afternoon. There were cookies and coffee/tea waiting after a long day touring The Berkshires. Altogether, a great stay and I'm looking forward to my return visit - hopefully, soon!
So glad you enjoyed yourself! Thanks for the kind and detailed review! We greatly appreciate it and your patronage! Cheers, Nell

My husband and I spent a weekend at the Cornell Inn in August. First off, the Cornell Inn ought to be commended for NOT imposing three-night minimum stay requirements like just about every other place we looked at. We didn't have three nights, so to find a place this nice that didn't require it was a huge plus. Now on to the inn itself. Great location easily accessible to downtown Lenox and Tanglewood. The rooms, while definitely "antique," are clean and well-appointed. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast was also very tasty, and the lovely landscaping with the pond and waterfall was a nice setting for an outdoor breakfast or a cup of tea and cookie in the afternoon. If there was any complaint to be made, it was that sometimes the toilets in the rooms took a couple of extra flushes, but that's probably due to the older plumbing in the historic house. All in all, an enjoyable stay, and we would definitely stay again the next time we are in the Berkshires.
Thanks for the nice review! We're glad you enjoyed your stay with us and in the beautiful Berkshires. We hope you come again for a return visit!

From the moment we arrived, the welcome was friendly and cheerful. The location, close to Lenox, Route 7 and the Kennedy Forest Park, was great. The owners have only had the place for two years and have plans to make improvements. But don't be fooled into thinking it isn't great - it was already clean, tidy and well appointed. Breakfasts were excellent, with lots of choice and the staff were on hand all the time, cooking fresh pancakes and topping up the juice and coffee pots. There were no peppermint tea bags when we arrived. My wife enquired about them and next day, there were loads - nothing was too much trouble. There is also plenty of parking, with car parks set aside for each building, on the complex; so no dragging heavy cases from one place to another. Tim McCaffery was a warm host, chatting to all the guests and making sure they were alright. I would thoroughly recommend The Cornell Inn to anyone.
We appreciate you taking the time to write us a nice and detailed review. We so glad you enjoyed your time in the Berkshires and with us! Cheers, Nell

We really enjoyed staying at the Cornell Inn for our anniversary. The room was small but had an outstanding balcony to enjoy the beautiful grounds. The food was homemade and absolutely delicious. The Cornell Inn is located walking distance (not far but not right in town) from downtown Lenox so the location is great. We would certainly stay there again on our next trip to Lenox.

The Cornell Inn met our expectations and then some. From the first glimpse of the inn we knew we were somewhere special! Hosts Tim and Nel make you feel right at home. Explaining the history of the home as well as how they ended up there. The rooms were beautifully done and everything we needed for out stay or needed to know for our stay was there at our fingertips or easily available thru our grad opus hosts. We felt like family from the start. The breakfast was all homemade and scrumptious!!! It was served in a warm, family friendly atmosphere. If only we could give it 6 stars! Marek & Lori James from CT who will be back again!!!!
Hi! Thanks for the kind review! We appreciate it! We hope you come back again in the not too distance future! Cheers, Nell

My husband and I stayed at the Cornell Inn in August. The inn is close to town and an easy walk. The breakfasts were delicious, and coffee, tea, cocoa and cookies were available the rest of the day. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was Lucy. It was lovely. It had a bit of a musty smell when we first arrived, but we opened the windows and that took care of it. Although located on the street side, we found it to be quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended!
We appreciate you taking the time to write us a review! Thanks a bunch! Hope to see you again next year! Cheers, Nell
