Pleasant stay at the Cornell Inn

3.8 on July 31, 2014

Beautiful grounds, amazing variety of home-cooked breakfast options, walking distance from the great little town of Lenox, and on the main road that takes you to the nearby the northern and southern towns and numerous activities that make the Berkshire's such a great place to visit.

A wonderful, welcoming, lovely place to stay

I've stayed at the Cornell Inn twice now, and will definitely be back. The service is exceptional, and that was true from everyone - the owners on down to the folks who cleared plates at breakfast or answered questions at the front desk; the rooms are very comfortable, and range from charming to elegant; the breakfast is truly awesome. A ten-minute walk into the center of Lenox. Very reasonable rates for the area. I felt like they took all my questions and requests with the utmost concern and graciousness. I wouldn't change a thing.

Old fashioned charm, customer service, and great WiFi

The Cornell Inn offers a garden and home-like meander. The Inn, like a typical New England home, flows from main hall to additions and nooks. The garden offers multiple levels so seating can be quite private or, if so inclined, more convivial. The rooms are private. The WiFi is exceptionally good. I thought breakfast was quite yum and clearly aimed to answer every possible preference. Home baked cookies in the afternoon was an added consideration. Owners and staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful.

Lovely time in the Berkshires

Recently spent a nnight at the Cornell Inn and found the staff very helpful, the room lovely and the breakfast very tasty. Only issue I had with the room was lack easy access to an electrical outlet newr the bed.

Innkeeper Response
Hi! Thanks for your review. I'm glad overall, you enjoyed yourself at the Inn and in the Berkshires. If you don't mind, could you pass on what room you were staying in so I can take a peak at the electrical outlet and see if I can do anything to improve the matter. Thanks a bunch-

A wonderful place to stay.

We stayed three nights, using the inn as a home base for attending theatre productions in the area. Friendly management and staff, nice rooms. We'll be returning.

A nice stay in the Bershires

4.2 on July 21, 2014

First time at Cornell Inn and we would certainly come back. The breakfast was outstanding with many great selections and we could try some of each and come back for more. After we checked-out we stayed around for awhile to read in the beautiful gardens and have some additional coffee and tea. This is a lovely bed and breakfast. Nancy and Bob from Williamsport, PA
