We were only able to stay one night but found the Cornell Inn to be comfortable and just as described by the many positive reviews. Close to town and the breakfast was terrific!
We appreciate your review and that you found us a good fit. Hopefully next time you can stay for more than a night! Best Wishes- Nell

My friend and I stayed at the Cornell Inn in Lenox on our way to the east coast and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The historical buildings are exquisite, just what one would hope for in a New England Inn. Our room was beautifully appointed, our beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was more than adequate, and breakfast was delicious. We can't recommend it too highly.

The room was quite small for the price but very nicely appointed and the public spaces were above the norm and the breakfast was superlative.
I'm so glad you enjoyed our scrumptious breakfasts and beautiful grounds. We are unique in that we are a mere 10 minutes from the downtown center and yet have a mini oasis of floral and fauna. As far as our rooms are concerned, of the 28, we do have 3 on the smaller side. Being that most of our rooms for the week-ends during the summer season book in later winter and early spring, often it is those 3 rooms we have left at the last minute. Honestly, of the Inns in Lenox proper we are one of the few that only require a 2 night minimum on week-ends vs. a 3 night stay. If you shop around a bit, perhaps on Trip Advisor, or simply B&B.com you'll see we're about middle of the road cost wise compared to the majority of the Inns in town. Best Wishes- Nell
