When we arrived at Captain's Manor Inn, I was so impressed with the beauty of the Inn and gardens. The Canopy Room was so beautiful and immaculate. I didn't think that it could get any better, that is, until we ate the delicious breakfasts each morning and snacks in the afternoon. It was a short walk to shopping and restaurants and the bus pickup for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard was also close. Thank you Trish, Kevin and staff for such a wonderful stay. We plan to return as soon as we can.

We recently returned from a 3-night stay at the Captain’s Manor Inn in Falmouth. The inn was very well maintained with lovely gardens and impeccable accommodations. We stayed in the Tuscany Room which reminded us of a recent trip to Florence. The breakfasts were simply delicious and varied each day. The sweet treats made available in the late afternoon made for a great dessert after our dinner. Trish and Kevin Robinson were the gracious hosts who went out of their way to make us feel most comfortable. They were always available with helpful hints on what to do and see. Their staff was top notch as well. Our trip back to Falmouth after some 10 years has confirmed that Falmouth and Captain’s Manor Inn is the best town and place to stay on the Cape. Treat yourselves to a magnificent stay, you’re worth it!

When my wife and I decided to spend 10 nights at the historic Captain's Manor Inn, we were apprehensive about staying so long in one place. It looked great on their website, but we had never spent so long at a bed and breakfast inn and wondered whether it would work out okay. But our fears were groundless: we were warmly welcomed and felt instantly at home. We had a very pleasant, comfortable room with our own veranda. There was a bistro where we could help ourselves to free beverages at any time (plus delicious daily cakes or cookies that miraculously appeared every afternoon). With only eight rooms, guests could get to know each other and compare notes at the communal breakfast table, in the bistro, and in the beautiful grounds, where we could lounge and relax whenever we wished – fortified with cold drinks at regular intervals. With all B&Bs, a key element is the staff, and especially the innkeepers. The Captain's Manor Inn is blessed with outstandingly fine and good-humoured innkeepers. Trish is brilliant at helping guests to relax, providing information and generally engaging with each individual on a one-to-one basis. Kevin grooms the gardens and cooks a mean breakfast, varying the menu daily, and even, specially for us, coming up with some new breakfast options so that we didn't get bored with the food during our comparatively long stay. Both innkeepers are very hands-on and seem to make plenty of time to chat with guests. The Inn is very well located, literally five minutes walk from the centre of town – which features a very pleasant, friendly main street larded with good restaurants and enticing shops – ten minutes from the beach, and five minutes from a twelve-mile cycle path that leads to several local attractions. Whether you stay for one night or a couple of weeks, at the Captain's Manor Inn you are guaranteed a genuinely warm welcome, great food and premium quality hospitality; all at competitive prices.

Wonderful inn! Unbelievable breakfasts! Can't decide if what topped the list - amazing baked apple, blueberry pancakes or the scones. The inn is very well run and Trish and Kevin were very helpful with recommendations for some wonderful restaurants. We were able to walk to many of them. We stayed in the Hatch room - spacious with large new bathroom. The inn is very quiet yet centrally located. Highly recommend the Captains Manor.
Thank you for taking time to write a review. We are glad that you enjoyed Kevin's breakfasts and the convenience of the Inn's location for walking to restaurants and shops. The Hatch room with the claw foot tub and extra large rain shower is quickly becoming a guest favorite. Thank you for being our guests and we wish you a wonderful summer. Trish and Kevin

My husband and I recently went to the Cape Cod area and decided on Captain's Manor Inn for our 2 day stay based on reviews we found online - we were not disappointed! We chose the K. L. Bates room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. The service was fantastic and it was obvious the innkeepers, Trish and Kevin take great pride in their Inn. The weather was great on the days we were there and we enjoyed breakfast on the porch - looking at the grounds! We spent our days touring around Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard - Ferry tickets were available for guests so we didn't have to wait in line at the port authority. Trish offered great suggestions for dinner (Glass Onion) and a tour guide (Resort Man) for our trip to the Vineyard. After I fell in love with the blanket on our bed, Trish helped me get one for home. It was truly a pleasure meeting Trish and Kevin!
Congratulations again on your anniversary! Thank you for staying with us and bringing the good weather with you :-). It is always a treat to serve breakfast on the porch so guests can enjoy the view of the gardens. We hope you are enjoying your new soft blanket. All the best, Trish and Kevin

Our stay at the end of April was one that we truly enjoyed despite the unusually cool weather. We were still able to visit Martha's Vineyard and the surrounding areas. Our innkeepers, Trish and Kevin were extremely warm and hospitable and they went out of their way to make sure that our stay was perfect! No request or information was too much to ask for from them. They were always willing to help. Our room with a king sized bed was decorated in a Tuscany theme and was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It is a full 5 star inn with 5 star innkeepers Trish and Kevin along with their staff, Breakfasts were absolutely delicious! We honestly recommend treating yourselves to a stay there!
We are very happy that warmer weather has arrived on Cape Cod and we wish it had been here for your visit in April. The beauty of the Tuscany room is that even on a dreary weather day it is nice and bright in the room and feels like spring with the special paintings on the walls. Have a wonderful summer and thank you for being our guests. Regards, Trish and Kevin

The Captin's Manor was a fabulous place. after hanging out at the manor one day then doing the tourist thing at Martha's Vinyard for the next day, I would say we definately had a better time just hanging out at The Captin's Manor. This is the nicest Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed at. Extremely comfortable, I felt just as welcome here as I do at home.

I can not say enough good things about The Captain's Manor Inn. I was impressed before I even stepped foot on their property. My husband and I like to travel a lot, so I have visited my share of websites for inns, hotels, B&Bs, etc. I have found that more often than not, the hospitality industry is sorely lacking in the website department. However, Captain's Manor had a well designed website, with lots of information & photos, and it was super easy to see what their availability was. Trish, the innkeeper, responded right away to a question I submitted via email. Luckily, the inn had availability for the night I needed, so I went ahead and booked the room. Both Trish and Kevin are very personable, and we chatted easily while I was checking in. The inn features a "bistro" where you can help yourself to coffee or tea at any time during the day, and you might even find a homemade treat set out by the innkeepers as well. I had the opportunity to view three of their guest rooms, and they were all immaculate, beautifully decorated and comfortable. I chose the Forbes Room, which is in a quiet upstairs corner of the inn. The bed was high, firm, and incredibly comfortable. The sheets were the softest I've ever felt in my life. The shower was nice and hot with great water pressure and also featured a rain shower head. Lights throughout the common areas of the inn are on motion sensors, so that you may feel welcome to visit the bistro or library at any time during the day or night. Breakfast was a nice and relaxing experience, featuring delicious, homemade cooking. The inn is perfectly located in Falmouth Center, within walking distance of a number of great restaurants, shops and pubs. Trish made a number of recommendations for dinner, and the inn even has menus from several restaurants to review before venturing out. In summary, this was one of the finest inns I have stayed at, and I look forward to going back, and soon!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with other potential visitors to our Inn. It was our pleasure to be your hosts while you were in the area for a working weekend. We too are very much looking forward to your return and nicer weather so you can enjoy the veranda for afternoon snacks or perhaps a glass of wine :)

Trish and Kevin were friendly and hospitable. They have done a fabulous job renovating and maintaining this unique Victorian-style home. The inn has beautiful gardens and a wrap-around porch. Additionally, it has a great location within walking distance from the shoppes. The breakfasts and the daily baked snacks were delicious.

This Historic Inn was recently renovated, so it was fresh, clean, & very comfortable. The breakfasts were creative, delicious and very relaxed, and the location could not have been better, (right on a quiet part of main street, & within walking distance of a lot of attractions). Kevin & Trish (the Inn Keepers) were the best yet (very engaging, friendly & full of excellent recommendations for sights & restaurants in the area). Trish seems to have thought of every possible amenity to enhance her quest's stay. The room was stocked with water bottles, chocolates, makeup wipes, etc and there was always a nice afternoon snack accompanied by ice tea & lemonade. I would go back every summer if it were not so far from home

We've enjoyed many vacations on the Cape..but The Captain's Manor Inn was by far the best place we've stayed. The location..short walk to restaurants and the bike trail..we even strolled down to the ocean after dinner. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean! Breakfast was a gourmet meal and enjoyed on the veranda overlooking the beautiful, mature gardens. Trish and Kevin are extremely attentive to their guest's needs and are exceptional hosts. Truly a great experience! Debbie
