The perfect gift for every occasion

  • Blooming Cherry Tree in the Old Conservatory Garden.
Buttonbush Room offers a queen size bed, private bath with a tub/shower and sitting area. It is located on the second floor of our Carriage House. Back in the 1800's the Carriage House started its life as the barn for the working farm that is now Nauset House Inn. The Carriage House was moved from its original position at the end of our main entrance to a foundation just across our driveway in the early 60's. It was then converted to rental rooms back when the Inn was called The Jolly Haven. The second floor of the Carriage House now houses our largest rooms; Buttonbush, Iris, Beachplum and Sea Oats.
The Sea Lavender room offers twin beds with a private bath. It is located in the main Inn building on the second floor. Sea Lavender is our only twin bedded room and gives singles or siblings the opportunity to be together and have the privacy of their own bath. The main Inn includes our commons room as well as our dinning room and our famous 1908 conservatory. It is the original farm house and its many rambling additions that we now call the main Inn.

Originally built as a farmhouse around 1810, the Nauset House Inn is one of the most charming Inns on Cape Cod. To top it off, it's just a short walk to Nauset Beach. Owned by the National Park Service and stretching for 10 miles on the Atlantic, Nauset Beach is one of the most beautiful sandy shorelines to dot the eastern coast. Family owned and operated since 1982, the Nauset House provides the perfect retreat from the fast pace of the workaday world. Nestled within 100 year old apple trees, each of the 14 hand crafted guest rooms are tastefully and artistically appointed. The rooms feature hand painted furniture, floral stencils and trompe l'oeil walls. Everyone is welcomed into the large comfortable commons room upon arrival. It is in the commons room that guests are treated to complimentary wine, cranberry juice and hors d'oevres daily at 5:30. Just off the commons room you will find the brick floored dining room. With it's open hearth and beamed ceiling it lends an English pub like feeling to the complimentary full breakfast that is offered every morning. Check out our website and give us a call. We would love to share Nauset House Inn with you.

Charming, comfortable, and affordable B&B within walking distance to the beach

    February 02, 2010

Everything you would expect from a New England B&B and more - beautifully maintained Colonial home, gracious innkeepers, and delicious, hearty breakfasts. We stayed in the Cranberry Room - well-appointed, cozy, a good value. At night, we enjoyed mingling with other guests over wine and hors d'oeuvres while finding a restaurant for dinner, and playing board games upon our return. We also enjoyed late-night walks to the beach, only 15 minutes away. Only criticism - the bed in the Cranberry Room was a bit uncomfortable and perhaps could be replaced.

    Nauset House Bed and Breafast

    September 16, 2009

This inn was the best b&b we have ever stayed at. Beautiful, comfortable rooms, immaculately kept, delicious, multiple choice for breakfast including eggs - not just a bun or cold cereal, although there was that too. There was a very pleasant, sociable atmosphere with other guests thanks to breakfast served "family style" at big tables and a glass of wine or fruit juice offered at the end of the day. Most of the guests were repeaters and were a very pleasant group from all over the world. The owners were most thoughtful and gave excellent advice on places to go, things to do and where to eat. Real HOSTS.
