The Green Turtle is a floating bed & breakfast as luxurious as it is unique. Set in historic Charlestown Navy Yard on Boston Harbor, this B & B offers an expansive view of the Boston Harbor skyline along with the comfort and amenities of a modern bed and breakfast. Charlestown is the home of the USS Constitution "Old Ironsides" and museum, Bunker Hill Monument and the Freedom Trail. Charlestown has numerous dining choices from bagels to world famous fine dining all within walking distance from the Green Turtle. Walk the freedom trail to the North End and downtown Boston. Water taxi is the fastest way to get to the Green Turtle from the airport. They will drop you off and pick you up at your front door. The water ferry is just 3 piers away from the Green Turtle which will bring you to Long Wharf which is home to the aquarium and a short walk to Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market and the cost is just $1.75 per person each way. There is also a free bus shuttle in the Navy Yard to North Station where you can travel to any parts of the city by subway. The Green Turtle Bed and Breakfast offers two private rooms. Enjoy the comforts of a bed and breakfast and the privacy of a hotel room. Each room has a kitchenette and a private bathroom en suite. Breakfast pastries are placed outside your room each morning. Cancellations: Refunds will be issued if cancellation is received more than 14 days prior to arrival date, less a $25 cancellation fee. Less than 14 days, we will refund payment provided we are able to resell the nights covered by the reservation, less the cancellation fee. For cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, the full amount will be charged. We regret that we cannot give refunds for late arrivals or for early departures.

I want to thank Karen and Jon on the one year anniv of my wife Betsy and i staying at their lovely bed and breakfast this was the last trip that my wife every took as she was taken from me in May 2011 by cancer Betsy talked about how much fun it was to stay and enjoy the harbor during the large snow storm we had on our weekend once again thanks for the life long memory that i have of Best smiling Norb Gonzalez

Our short visit to Boston in July 2011 was defined by this amazing discovery - a really special & different experience. Karen & Jon are the most delightful hosts and it was fun to see how they lived - next door to the B&B on their yacht. I still have the image in my mind of them fishing for their dinner as we headed off in the water taxi to the airport. Green Turtle was indeed a highlight of our 3 week trip to the USA. Delicious breakfasts, fascinating traffic on the river, and good access to all we wanted to do in Boston. Do what you need to and get yourself there!

A delightful surprise. Our hosts, Karen & Jon, were friendly and most accomodating. The breakfasts were just to our liking. The apartment was cozy with an extraordinary view. The Harbor Walk added to our experience. We wish we could have stayed longer

We had a great time at the Green Turtle B&B. The food was outstanding and the hosts were very helpful and friendly. Trust their restaurant suggestions! Would recommend staying here to any/everyone!
