The Captain Freeman Inn provided us with the best b and b experience we've ever enjoyed!! If you are looking for excellence in service and accommodations; charm, comfort and quality--in a fantastic vacation location--then the Captain Freeman Inn is the inn you'll want to book!! We travelled there for a special anniversary vacation and were completely delighted by the hospitality and warmth of the inn keepers, who went far beyond the norm to provide us with everything we could need, and even anticipated our wishes!! In truth, they spoiled us! The room itself was a delight!! It was hard to leave! Much attention was given to the details of comfort! The entire inn has just been lovingly and carefully re-done! The charming guestrooms, all newly painted and tastefully decorated, marry antique furnishings with brand-new pieces. The rooms are stocked with lovely high-end linens/bedding/towels, and new mattresses. Many of the bathrooms offer the added touch of beautiful granite. And the breakfasts were beyond special--with wonderful offerings of the highest quality and presentation, and certainly delicious-tasting--all prepared and served with gracious hospitality and attention to detail!! As for location, a beautiful beach is just down the lane from the inn where we were able to enjoy the sun and the water, as well as veiwing lots of local water creatures up close. Many antique and gift shops are nearby--some within walking distance, as well as plenty of nice restaurants. The inn is situated in a quaint and lovely town of tree-lined streets and picket fences, that has managed to maintain the charm and architectural delights of historical Cape Cod. Captain Freeman Inn--is a treasure you'll want to experience!!

I wanted to do something very special for my husband for graduating from his master's degree and I spoke with Byron, the owner, to plan this special trip. He told me of this gem of a place he and his wife had just opened in Cape Cod as Brewster By the Sea ( which they owned and ran ) was full. My husband and I just loved our stay here! We travel and stay at B&Bs often, and we have to stay this is one of the best we stayed at from the beauty of the inn to the small but tasteful touches in the room. Each room has flowers, hand made chocolates, and a very informative binder explaining all the great places in the Cape. The innkeeper Suni is a wonderful, friendly hostess who is also a yoga teacher conducts classes right on the beach! The other people in the inn such as Lisa were so sweet and accomdating. The breakfasts were healthy as well as delicious! The afternoon lemonade, scones, and cookies were also a great treat after spending the day at various beaches~ Also, we 100% suggest Brewster to stay because it has the charm of a storybook town in the Cape. Other places we felt were more commercialized. If you want a true get away, we suggest this inn as it was comfortable, beautiful, and an ideal stay for a vacation :)
