Had a festive, multi-event (rehearsal dinner, bridesmaids' brunch, formal wedding & reception) weekend in a nearby big city. Stopped at Fowler House afterwards on the way home. It was the most charming and ideal place to relax and unwind. The proximity to Poverty Point historic site was a plus. Ruby was a gracious and considerate hostess, making sure we were comfortable and providing us with everything we needed for next morning's perfect breakfast. Our only regret was that we were only able to stay one night. We hope to go back.

This trip was a sad time for us because we lost a loved one. But Mrs. Ruby & the Fowler House made it so comforting for us. Thank you so much!

The country setting is absolutely the best! Full front porch is great for morning coffee and relaxing. Spacious house with all amenities one would need or want. Will definitely come back again.
