The elegant Twenty-Four-Thirty-Nine Fairfield Bed and Breakfast, circa 1905, is situated in the historical district on a beautiful avenue of splendid mansions and fine homes built around the turn of the century. Landscaped English rose and herb gardens, a Victorian swing, gazebo and water fountain are nestled among the oak trees.
The Jamie Alice suite is the grandest of all the rooms... This Honeymoon Suite is decorated in rose and blue with symbols of love. Ribbons and roses adorn the walls, accent the decor and drape their color over the antique glass windows. After helping yourself at the wet bar, relax in the overstuffed Queen Anne Victorian love seat and chairs. This suite offers a king size bed with canopy, designer linens and down duvet, and antique stained glass window over the whirlpool tub; these are just two of the embellishments of this favored room.
Nightly Rate: $0 - $225
The Vicki Gail Suite consists of an English petticoat dressing vanity and armoire both circa 1860. A king size sleigh bed displays the country bride Amish quilt. A dainty Queen Anne sideboard sports a wet bar for your convenience. There is a six foot whirlpool jacuzzi tub in the private bath with robes provided for you comfort. You may enjoy swinging or rocking on the balcony.
Nightly Rate: $0 - $175
The Paul Stetson Suite boasts an antique hand carved, almost king size, canopy bed with lace and ivy in the canopy. Deep navy and country blue make the room very peaceful while you relax in the bed and watch the bluebirds out the window. There is a quaint balcony overlooking the grandiose Fairfield Avenue with two individual swings to relax in on those cool spring days.
Nightly Rate: $0 - $155
The Jana Roberta Suite is decorated in golden oak furnishings. The walls are covered with the tree of life pattern of rose, blue and green appointed above the chair rail. The wall hangings are handmade battenburg lace collars and hand-crocheted doilies by our grandmothers. There is a queen size four-poster bed, graced with a white hand-cut linen coverlet. The private balcony overlooking the herb garden and gazebo make for a relaxing afternoon or evening.
Nightly Rate: $0 - $145

2439 Fairfield is an oasis in a lodging desert caused by glitzy casinos and a city which emphasizes the casino business over fine lodging and dining. Brian & Jimmy have created a friendly welcoming place. The house is filled with Jimmy's collection of village houses, paperweights, and so on. Our room was thoughtfully laid out with a jacuzzi tub. The second floor porch is great for relaxing in the evening. The breakfast was really good with everything you could want - with a dessert to finish it off. We highly recommend 2439 Fairfield.

My wife and I were traveling cross country from Florida to California for a military move. We stopped at this Bed and Breakfast because we had never stayed at one before. As soon as we walked in, it was like walking through the looking glass into the Victorian Era. Everything was elegantly decorated and Mr. Harris and Mr. Resmondo were very helpful. I have never slept so peacefully as I did that night. The next morning, we were awaken to the sweet smells of coffee, tea, bisquits, bacon, and all other delicious breakfast items. If we are ever in the area again, we will be staying there.

This was our second time to stay here and we had such a wonderful experience. My husband and I got married here in 2010 and it was so nice to revisit. Everything was just as amazing as the first time we stayed. We look forward to visiting again and again. It is such a beautiful place and very warm and inviting. They really make you feel at home. The home and rooms are so beautifully decorated as well as being very comfortable. The food is also great. We love the fried pies and hashbrown casserole! We highly recommend this place to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

We were a military family passing though while moving across the country. We were looking for a pet-friendly place with safe parking and one that could be flexible with our timeline. Nothing but support after striking out at nearby hotels (and base). The bed was so comfortable and the food was delicious!

This is fun place to stay, convenient to just about everywhere in Shreveport/Bossier city, and the food was fantastic. My wife even bought Jimmy's cookbook to take home and try our some of his recipes. My wife and I prefer to stay in B&B's whenever we can and this one is a place we'll stay again.

When in Shreveport, we always stay at 2439 Fairfield. The rooms are great, the location is secure and Mr. Harris is a gourmet chef.

We were lucky enough to catch 2439 Fairfield right before the Christmas decorations were put away. It was a delightfully relaxing weekend and Jimmy and Brian were lovely hosts. The breakfasts were delish and the guys were able to give us a lot of Shreveport history and advise us on the must see places in town. If you're going to Shreveport, I'd recommend you stay here.
