Room 1 has a king bed, and is located near the hot tub. This room is ideal for those guests who are anticipating a late-night hot tub splash. It has a private bathtub shower combo, and is located in the far corner of the courtyard, so it's a bit more private than the other rooms.
Room 2 is located in the main house, and has a king bed. This rooms amenities are 24 hour breakfast access, DVD player, extra bath products. This room may be adjoined to room 15.
Room 3 is located on the second floor of the main house. The room is one of the smaller rooms we have but tastefully decorated with antiques and period furnishings. This room is ideal for those traveling on a budget.
Room 5 is located on the second floor of the main house. The room is tastefully painted and decorated. This room is one of my favorites. The room has a rather large bathroom and is a very cozy place with a window overlooking the street.
Room 6 with 2 double beds sleeps up to 4 guests and is located on the second floor of the main house. It is located on the end of the building, which provides a higher degree of privacy to the guests. A rather large room with two windows, it gives an airy feeling and overlooks Ursuline Avenue.
Room 7 is located in the rear building overlooking the lush tropical courtyard. Room 7 is cozy especialy when your widow or door is open listening to the water trickeling in the goldfish pond located right outside your door.
Room 10 is located on the second floor of the back building. Room 10 is a large room with a large bathroom. The room overlooks the courtyard and is a very convenient place to be.
Room eleven is located on the second floor of the back building and overlooks the beautiful tropical courtyard. Room eleven is a quiet and peaceful retreat.
Room 12 is located on the second floor of the back building and is a very quiet area. The room is directly above the hot tub and overlooks the beauty of our tropical courtyard.
Room 14 is located on the street and gives that private access a lot of people love about the French Quarter. The feel of having your own apartment in the French Quarter is always a plus. The room is equipped with a microwave, mini refrigerator. The bathtub has a portable mini spa. This room is cool.
Room eight is located on the first floor of the rear building opening onto the lush tropical courtyard. Room eight is some of our guests favorite rooms because the guests who return to our establishment always want their room back.
Room 15 may adjoin rooms 2 and 16. This room can be rented with or without a furnished kitchen.
Room 16 has 1 queen sized loft bed. This room may adjoin room 15, You must be able to climb a ladder to access the loft bed.

I go to New Orleans often and this has been my favorite place to stay by far! The staff were so nice and friendly. The location could not have been more perfect! My most recent trip has been, hands down, the best trip so far and we owe a lot of that to the Ursuline Guest House. We will only stay here from now on!!! Thank you!!

I had a great stay here during Southern Decadence. It's in a great location, close to the bars and other sites and activities in the French Quarter. The managers/owners are very accommodating and friendly. It worked out great for me.

Ursuline Guest House in a word; Perfect. Loved the age of the building - squeaks in floors, exposed pipes in bathroom, patches of brick showing through. Beautiful. The location was fabulous. Close enough to everything 'French Quarter' but tucked off to the side so it was nice and quiet. The people of Ursuline were just as fantastic. Very accommodating. There was always someone there to point me in the right direction in the mornings and in the evenings during the wine and cheese hour, someone who was genuinely interested to know how my day went. I loved being there and wouldn't change a moment of it. I'm looking forward to my next adventure to NOLA and will not stay anywhere else. ~Shay. Canada~

These folks are really lovely and laid back and the guest house is pretty from the outside and located in a great central part of the French Quarter and dog-friendly. They were welcoming and obviously put care into the spot -- offering wine and a little self-serve breakfast. But it was simply way too dirty and run-down. We changed rooms at first because the first room had mystery stains on the bed, as well as a shower without a grate and some hair. Our second room was nicer, in the sense that everything is relative. But there was still a stain on our sheet (I believe they had been washed but that the stain endured) and you could not turn on the sink hot water in the bathroom, as the faucet knob had been removed. The people running the place were as accommodating as possible, but nothing can change the fact that this inn needs a fresh coat of paint, all-new linens, and an incredibly thorough cleaning. It's a sweet place and a nice old New Orleans building, and I think they would do a great business if they took care of these basic necessities.

Very friendly place to stay in the heart of the French Quarter. Within minutes of the Riverwalk, Cafe du Monde, Bourbon St, Frenchman St. We didn't rent a car and walked everywhere. Bill and his staff are friendly and helpful. The evening gathering for wine and cheese was really great, lots of fun conversations with other guests from all over. We had a wonderful week there.
