The Burgundy Bed and Breakfast is a recently renovated 1890's ornate Victorian "shotgun double" in the Faubourg Marigny, within walking distance of the French Quarter.
Our clientele is a perfect mix of straight and gay men and women.
A typical all-inclusive rate (for 2 persons) is $90 per night / $567 per week.
Clothing is optional in the spa and sunbathing area.

* From the east: Stay on I-10 until the Elysian Fields Av. Exit 237. Take Elysian Fields to the left (South) for approx. 1 mile. After crossing St. Claude Av., take a left on N. Rampart, and continue for 5 blocks to Music St. Take a right on Music (for one block), then right on Burgundy, and park in front of the house.
* From the west: From I-10 take I-610 East at Exit 230. Continue for 3 miles to Exit 3 (Elysian Fields Av.) Take Elysian Fields to the right (South) for approx. 1.7 miles. After crossing St. Claude Av., take a left on N. Rampart, and continue for 5 blocks to Music St. Take a right on Music (for one block), then right on Burgundy, and park in front of the house. - Nearest major airport: New Orleans, LA (MSY) 14 miles

* Driving: From I-10 take I-610 East at Exit 230. Continue for 3 miles to Exit 3 (Elysian Fields Av.) Take Elysian Fields to the right (South) for approx. 1.7 miles. After crossing St. Claude Av., take a left on N. Rampart, and continue for 5 blocks to Music St. Take a right on Music (for one block), then right on Burgundy, and park in front of the house.
* Airport Pick-up Service:
We can arrange transportation to and from the airport with a very nice cab driver, who meets our guests at baggage claim with a "The Burgundy B&B" sign. We offer this service for the standard (regulated) cab fare (presently $28 for 1 or 2 persons plus $12 per person for 3rd and 4th persons).
* Public Transportation from the Airport: This service is restricted after Katrina - call to find out if it is back in full service.
The Airport Express Bus E2 leaves the airport about every 15 minutes and costs $1.60 exact fare. It takes about 45 minutes to the Central Business District, Elks Pl. and Tulane Ave. From there call me and I can usually pick you up. Or you walk 2 blocks to N. Rampart and Canal to catch the Marigny-Bywater Bus #5, which also runs about every 15 minutes. It takes less than 10 minutes to Dauphine and Franklin, which is one block from our house, and costs $1.25 exact fare. - Meeting places:

• For cancellations more than one month before arrival date your deposit will be refunded less a $25 cancellation fee per room.
