You're greeted with stately columns and regal galleries. Inside, the charm of antebellum New Orleans surrounds you. This grand Greek Revival house of the 1850's exudes both the elegance and decadence of old Creole Louisiana. With soaring 14-foot ceilings and intricate, hand-crafted cypress trim, your room is a respite from the bustle of the street. Some feature 4-poster king beds, others queen and full sized beds. All have private baths. An intimate courtyard invites you to relax in our soothing spa surrounded by tropical greenery and yet you're close to the action. Just six blocks from the French Quarter, a 15 minute stroll to the non-stop energy of Bourbon Street. Fine restaurants, famous jazz clubs and sidewalk cafes are literally a short walk from our front door. Royal Street Courtyard, where you're at home in New Orleans.

My husband and I were so glad that we booked a room at the Royal Street Courtyard. Both Phillip and David were so helpful to us during our stay. After staying at the Royal Street Courtyard we will book a room there each time we come to New Orleans for this will definitely be our place to stay in New Orleans.

We have stayed at the RSC before and were sure to stay again when we returned to New Orleans. The staff is super friendly and attentive, but give you your space. The property has several nice amenities like the huge front porch. The location is good because it is quiet, but still close to the quarter. There are plenty of nice restaurants right around the corner, too. You can't beat the price, either!

My husband and I just spent 4 nights and were blown away by the kindness and hospitality of Philip and David. Upon arrival Phillip spent about an hour showing us all the must visit places on an annotated map of the city. The room was clean and furnished beautifully. This place has so much charm and was just a quick walk away from the French Quarter. We hope to come back soon!

The Royal Street Courtyard is an utterly charming B&B, and a perfect base for seeing the bountiful sights of the city. Phillip and David went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to ensure our stay ran smoothly. The B&B itself is clean, spacious and fit-to-bursting with quirky charm. It is also perfectly situated: close enough to be within a short stroll of virtually all the hotspots, but just far enough away in a friendly neighbourhood to offer a little peace and seclusion. Breakfast is functional but plentiful, and just what you need with all those wonderful cafes, diners and restaurants to explore. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone hoping to take advantage of all N'awlins has to offer. Double thumbs-up.

Great place that we would happily stay at again. Philip and David are wonderful hosts who, between the two of them, will fill you in both on the best places to see and eat and the culture and history of the city. We really enjoyed our room and the connected balcony (and it was worth dealing with the small, unventilated bath). Breakfast is strictly continental, which is true for most NOLA B&Bs, apparently due to unfriendly city licensing requirements, but who cares - you're in NOLA and great eats are literally around the corner!

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Street Courtyard and would highly recommend it to anyone! This is a very charming place within walking distance of the French quarter and best music spots. Phillip and David were so welcoming and gave us lots of great recommendations - Thanks to them, we had a great time in New Orleans!
