We booked at the Royal Street Courtyard as we wanted to stay in a traditional setting within easy access of the French Quarter. We were not disappointed! We are a family party and EVERYONE was really happy! The location was perfect, clean, excellent facilities, easy reach of everything, very safe and our hosts added the most important part. We only had 3 day and Phillip's guide to local restaurants and suggestions for tours gave us time to enjoy the whole New Orleans' experience. Would highly recommend - and would always stay here if we get the chance to return. Thank you both so much from all of us. We travelled a long way and were not disappointed.
Thank you so much. It was a pleasure meeting you. We look forward to seeing you all again!

The innkeepers were amazingly helpful and friendly. We followed up on most of their suggestions and were pleased with all of them.

Before booking our trip I did tons of online research trying to find the best bang for our buck: location, service, reviews from other guests, etc. these guys are as good as it gets. When we arrived Phillip spent a solid hour showing us the property, giving us a brief history of the building/neighborhood, and hand making us a map of the city. He offered so many fantastic suggestions for dining and activities and not once were we let down. They truly care about the guest experience and put forth every effort to ensure you'll have a great time and have a memorable trip. We stay at B&B's all over the place and honestly, this was the best of the best. Also, as far as being in the right place for great local dining, easy walking to everything, and cool people to talk with you will not find a better location. We never had to drive a single time in four days. I promise Royal Street Courtyard will NoT disappoint. Do it :) cheers

My husband and I recommend this B & B to all travelers visiting New Orleans. The owners are super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. They'll tell you what is worth doing/seeing and give great dining recommendations. The location is walking distance to the French Quarter sites and public transportation, and just far enough outside the busy touristy area to give you the neighborhood feel. We loved our 2nd floor room with access to the balcony. If ever in the city again we would definitely stay there.

We visited Royal Street Courtyard earlier this month, and had a wonderful visit! Philip and David are wonderful hosts. They are there to greet the arrivals and provide a map of the neighborhood explaining where everything is - from the fun things to do as a visitor, to the neighborhood breakfast spots. It's only 10 minutes to the Quarter and stumbling distance from Frenchmen Street. The B&B is in a wonderful old house, with spacious and surprisingly quiet rooms. The yard is awesome to hang out in, with a swing chair and a hot tub, and the porch is great to people watch from. (If you get the room with the detached bathroom - they have robes!) The house cat might come up for the odd cuddle. There is a 24 hr convenience store 2 blocks away if you forget anything, or realize you need sunscreen. Overall we have a fabulous trip to New Orleans and can't wait to come back! Rik and Tatiana.

Perfectly located a few blocks from Frenchmen Street in Marigny with access to local restaurants, coffee shops and bars outside the French Quarter. The hosts provide the highest quality of information saving time for enjoying this beautiful district in this glorious town.

A fantastic house with style and charm is only outdone by wonderful owners who really understand how to connect with their guests. The customer service began with emails and text messages from Phillip, making sure we had everything we needed and asking when our plane landed so he could receive us. It hasn't stopped there. He gave us an orientation, suggestions on dining, and other recommendations. You just don't see this level of customer care anymore!

Our trip to the Royal Street Courtyard at the end of February 2016 was outstanding. Upon arrival we were greeted by Phillip and given a detailed rundown of the area, places to see and eat, and things to do. Throughout our entire weekend the owners were extremely helpful and gracious in answering any and all questions we had, and many that we didn't realize we had! The B&B was quiet, comfortable, and welcoming, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Any trip back to New Orleans in the future will definitely include a stay here.
