Maison Perrier

  • Inn Details

This beautiful American Victorian built in 1892 is located in the historic Uptown/Garden District. Registered by the U.S. Department of the Interior as an Historic Place, it was recently restored and thoroughly modernized for our guests enjoyment and comfort, however, all of the original architectural details remain. Let us tempt you with one of our wonderful southern breakfasts. Enjoy complimentary wine and cheese on Friday and Saturday evenings. Nibble on the homemade goodies that are always set out for our guests. Lounge in our brick courtyard among the gardenias and hibiscus. Relax in a luxurious, yet comfortable, environment. Each guest room is spacious and beautifully decorated. All have luxurious baths, many with whirlpool tubs. All rooms have private voice mail, data ports and cable TV, luxury milled soaps, plush white terry bath robes, super soft sheets, fluffy towels, and other amenities you would expect from a fine hotel. Wireless internet access is also available on the premises. The French Quarter, the Universities, and Audubon Park are a short street car ride away! You can stroll down Magazine Street and browse the great antique stores and unique boutiques, or enjoy a tour of the impressive and historic Garden District. World-class dining is around the corner and throughout the city. Try your luck in the casinos, cruise the mighty Mississippi, visit the swamps, or tour magnificent and historic antebellum plantations. There is no end to the ease and excitement of New Orleans.

My husband and I had a great long weekend stay. The room was quite comfortable and the innkeepers (Tom and Patricia) were really nice. The staff was very accommodating and the location was perfect.

Very clean, loved the jetted tub, delicious breakfast, wonderful hosts! The only suggestion I would make would be for blackout curtains. These are a necessity for anyone (like myself) who is light sensitive. When the sun was up, so was I, and I was really hoping to sleep in. We walked from the b&b to the WWII museum, Riverwalk and the French Quarter. I don't recommend that for the faint of heart; we walked about 10 miles that day. We rode the trolley to the French Quarter once; it was VERY hot and VERY crowded so we took a cab back to the b&b (cost was about $10). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend Maison Perrier if you're looking to get away to N'Awlins!

My husband and I stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary and loved every second of it! Tom and Patricia were so helpful and were always available for any questions we may have. The room [Claudette] was amazing and very homey. The house was very welcoming and the breakfasts were to die for! We will definitely be returning soon! Thank you both so much!

Tom & Patricia were both fabulous - they truly enjoy running this B&B, which shows to their guests. Our room was quite lovely & the breakfast was fabulous everyday - always cooked to order & featured a different menu each morning. Location is ideal rather you bring your own car or plan to use public transportation.
