Our gracious host Floyd Lamb was very helpful recommending local restaurants and entertainment. The wine and cheese at 5pm was a great way to meet other guests and locals. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend the Lions Inn to all my friends.

we really enjoyed staying at the Lions Inn. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Location is great for the Krewe du Vieux parade and just a few short blocks to Frenchman street. The courtyard is beautiful with the pool , coy pond and hot tub. and for an added bonus they have a wine and cheese hour every afternoon. will certainly come back on our next trip to NOLA

Loved the location, loved the dogs, loved the pool, loved the folks. Nice shower, & nice small kitchen area. Only think I'd add would be a small table. We had the room with an outdoor entrance, which was very nice and private. Highly recommended.

Nice, clean comfortable room. Bathroom very spacious. Small TV, however, we were hardly ever in room, basically jsut lulled us to sleep. Remote didn't work properly. Also, ceiling fan didn't work but room has AC. Steep stairs to make up to the room which you should make sure you are able to climb. Price was fair I thought. However, it is not as close to the most visited part of French Quarter as seems advertised. Cab to that area only about $10 to most destinations. Recommend taking taxi at least as far as the open French Market as the area near house doesn't seem a great place to walk at night. Back yard pool area is very nice and drinks are provided in a fridge. They do have a small breakfast provided and a wine in evening. We are not breakfast people as we come in late, sleep late and go out and have lunch. Overall, I would stay here again especially if I couldn't find something similiar in price closer to the quarters or Casino.
