Visited the Hubbard Mansion for the first time and it was outstanding in every way. We will most assuredly stay there every time we return to New Orleans. Absolutely lovely home and owner. Safe, secure, and with on-site parking. Perfect place!

My husband and I have stayed at the Hubbard Mansion several times over the last 3 years. The location is wonderful - on St. Charles Avenue in the loverly Garden District. The rooms are very nice and the breakfast is delicious.

We met our son in New Orleans for the weekend and stayed in the two bedroom apartment in the carriage house in the back. It was perfect for us. We had a comfortable living room to visit in. Each bedroom had an en suite bath. The location was quiet, but had easy access to the trolley and a Fresh Market store. There is off-street parking in front of the carriage house. Breakfast is not included with the apartment. Sheila and Don were very nice and made us feel welcome. I have already recommended Hubbard Mansion to several friends. A great place to stay in New Orleans.

We booked at the last minute right before st Patrick's day and still got an amazing deal. The mansion itself is beautiful. The story of the mansion is even better, make sure to browse the clipping in the main hall. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is basic but just right and the shower pressure was perfect! You will not find a better location.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and we were very happy with the city and the accommodations! The B&B was beautiful, comfortable, and the staff was above wonderful! The rooms were spacious, very clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We will be staying here on our next trip to the area and cannot recommend it highly enough!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hubbard Mansion when we were in New Orleans for a Convention. Sheila and Mr Hubbard were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I was in a wheelchair during our stay and the facility was accessible on the main level. The breakfasts were homemade and very tasty. The B&B is convenient to the Garden District, Convention Center, Magazine Street, and The French Quarter. The St Charles StreetCar is right outside. There was ample parking and it was easy to find at night. I would highly recommend staying at the Hubbard Mansion and we will definitely be return.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Hubbard Mansion, a terrific family owned and operated bed-and-breakfast located in the Garden District, and would recommend it highly to all of our friends who might be planning a trip to New Orleans in the future. The rooms are clean, well-lit, and beautifully appointed with antique furniture selected from the proprietors' personal collection. There is plenty of parking in the rear (i.e., off the street), and the St. Charles streetcar stops only 100 feet from the front door. Most importantly, though, Don and Sheila are the most gracious hosts, ever eager to please and to see to it that your stay in the city they call home is an enjoyable one. Truly, this is southern hospitality at its very finest, and if we had any regret at all, it was only that we had to go back home! Thank you again, Don and Sheila. We enjoyed meeting you, and look forward to seeing y'all again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This was our first trip to New Orleans and we hit the jackpot with this B&B! Beautiful house with wonderful accommodations! The owner, Mr. Hubbard, Sheila, and all the staff very welcoming and made us feel so at home and relaxed!! We were able to park at the B&B and take the streetcars out front for all our site seeing adventures and did not have to worry about driving!!This will be the place we stay for return trips to New Orleans!!!

I will always stay at the Hubbard Mansion whenever I visit New Orleans. Don & Sheila are wonderful hosts, the mansion is spotless and the food is divine. The location is great, the streetcar is right out front. I was a few stops from the university my daughter is attending and a few stops in the other direction to many fun attractions. I loved it!

This really is a gem of a place. It's a beautiful place, easy to get to, in a lovely neighborhood. We were able to walk to dinner, and felt safe doing so. Don and Sheila are gracious and welcoming hosts. We particularly enjoyed meeting and chatting with other guests at breakfast. The beautiful big front porches made for perfect people watching and relaxing at the end of a busy day.

Stayed here for three nights just after Mardi Gras. Wonderful experience. Don and Sheila are extremely friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious. Unknown to most, this is a mansion, but it was built only 18 years ago, to be a B and B. The design of it, with its antique furnishings can fool you to think you are in a 100 year old building, but in fact you get all the charm of the past, with the amenities of modern conveniences. This includes modern plumbing, private ensuite, air conditioning etc. The location is excellent!!! Street car right out front. Hop on / hop off bus one block away. We had our own vehicle, so private parking ( not street parking) was important. There is plenty of well concealed parking in the back at no extra charge. We cannot say enough good things about this place. If we ever come back to N.O we will stay here, but certainly we will recommend this to all our friends

Impressive! I have been to New Orleans many times and the Hubbard Mansion is my new favorite place to stay. Everything about the beautiful home, environment and lovely people said New Orleans style, grace and Southern hospitality. We were in a perfect location to see the parades in a family and fun friendly environment. Breakfast each day cooked by Shelia and also Don was excellent and the perfect way to start each day before walking out into the excitement around Mardi Gras. We also had the pleasure of enjoying casual conversation and hearing many wonderful stories. I wouldn't want to chose any other location for Mardi Gras!

The Hubbard is centrally located in the Touro section of Uptown, near to streetcar stops, local restaurant hotspots and unique bar experiences. We were looking for something extra special for a New Years' weekend stay where we could relax from touring New Orleans. Quiet and comfortable hospitality will await at the Hubbard Mansion. Guests will enjoy the Innkeepers' southern charm and gracious casual atmosphere. If your are lucky, Don or Sheila will sit a bit at breakfast and chat with guests. Tourist or local will be entertained with their charm, their wit and insider stories of the comings and goings of Uptown or New Orleans in general. Choose your room depending on preference; front rooms will allow for the Avenue view and rhythmic streetcar sounds while the back is more quiet. There is off- street parking in the rear. Daily breakfast and housekeeping. Keep the kids at home as the manse is filled with beautiful old pieces and the atmosphere quiet and restful. A good bargain, this B & B is priced competitively with nearby hotels but offers the look, feel and ambiance of Old New Orleans," Hubbard-style." You will enjoy!

This is the perfect B&B in the perfect location in New Orleans. Wonderful hosts. Great hospitality. Beautiful home and rooms. Choose a room in the back for a little more quiet and don't miss the breakfast before spending the day in the Garden District, taking the streetcar to the French Quarter or the park. Walk to Magazine Street or simply cross the street for a great meal at the wine bar with excellent food. Ask Don and Sheila where to find the best beignets or local food just a short walk or ride away. Just an excellent experience!

We were very sorry to leave after four wonderful days as guests of Don and Sheila at this splendid property. Their hospitality was second to none and we loved the morning chats with Don and the excellent breakfasts made by Sheila. New Orleans is a special place but it was made particularly memorable by our stay at Hubbard Mansion. We look forward to the book Don!

The Hubbard Mansion was beautiful. Mr. Hubbard was very nice and made sure that we were well taken care of. The Mansion is located a few steps from the New Orleans Street Car stop so transportation was a breeze. I plan to always stay at the Hubbard Mansion whenever I am in New Orleans and I am currently planning my next visit.

Our stay in New Orleans was made perfect by the incredible hospitality and helpfulness of the owners and staff of Hubbard Mansion. The house, conveniently located on St.Charles avenue, was beautiful, clean and a wonderful sanctuary to return to after long days touring the city. It is centrally located, which made it easy to visit any place in the city within minutes. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby and the neighborhood, the Garden District, is very beautiful. We still can't believe of luck that we found such a wonderful place to stay during our time in New Orleans.

The ambience and hospitality at the Hubbard Mansion Bed and Breakfast were outstanding as were the breakfasts. Reading and relaxation on the verandah was another plus, as was its convenience to the places we needed to visit.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and we wanted someplace quiet, but accessible to the city without a car. The Hubbard Mansion was perfect. A charming host, beautiful clean room, and lovely breakfast make it a treat in a beautiful city. With the streetcar right outside the door, we were able to get everyone easily and safely. I would highly recommend the Hubbard for a true New Orleans experience.
