The house is fantastic and well decorated. We stayed in the Solarium Suite with attached Bride's Room. Perfect for two close couples or friends. Glen cooked a wonderful "New Orleans" breakfast. Don't miss that!

We loved staying at HH Whitney House. Our Innkeeper Glenn, and his partner Randall were very accommodating. The home was beautiful, and warm feeling. We stayed in the Solarium Suite and the Bride's Room, which are joined as one suite with a parlor, one bath and two bedrooms. So very comfortable and lovely. Breakfast was always delicious, and thankfully, well balanced, well proportioned meals. The neighborhood is quiet, and the bus that runs up to City Park and down to the edge of the French Quarter (and beyond) is just a block away. There is also a locally owned mini-mart across the street, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but they have just about anything you need.

as a last second thing my friends and I booked this place for WrestleMania in New Orleans. It was by far the best value around. We were able to get 2 rooms on our own floor for a fraction of what we would have paid for that at any hotel. The management was amazing and made perfect recommendations. We would go back.

We were there for the Crescent City Classic. It seemed like one large party of friends. Everyone was included.

House is in a great location and Glen is so helpful in his recommendations. Hot tub was wonderful! Everything was comfortable and there was plenty of parking. We had a great time!

Gorgeous 2nd floor room with private gallery & swing where I spend mornings drinking coffee & watching the world parade by! Beautiful garden & pool in back. can't beat location: quick walk to quarter & nice walk to city park. Many delightful restaurants on esplanade. Perfection!

The H. H. Whitney House is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the French Quarter and on a bus line. Even before we arrived, we felt well cared for, thanks to the detailed and accurate driving instructions to the B&B. We arrived early, but Glen was very hospitable and then and throughout our stay made us feel very welcome and at home. He's also a great font of knowledge about things to do in New Orleans and the surrounding area and how to get there. Our breakfasts were excellent and kept us well fed most of the day. We definitely would stay at the Whitney House if we visit New Orleans again.

I have been to New Orleans many times and can tell you that the HH Whitney B&B is truly an authentic B&B in New Orleans. Today so many B&B's have shortened the list of ammenities, HH Whitney has not done this. They exceed the experience in respect to a unique breakfast and endless amount of travel tips.. The location is the best. Can bike or hop a bus to city park. City park is a wonderful place to explore with regard to the grounds as well as the New Orleans Art museum. Can walk to the French quarter or the Marighney. Can access the street cars. And if you prefer not to walk, can take a taxi to one of these venues. The host, Glen is a native, a real plus in New Orleans. I would highly recommend HH Whitney. .Kathy. Central Louisiana

I was in NOLA 1 week prior to Mardi Gras, and had the chance to saty at this lovely B&B. The owners, Glen and Randy are awesome - they made us feel at home if the first five minutes. Great place to saty to enjoy the local culture, but still close to the French Quarter. I will definitely go back again.
