A remarkable transformation and renovation has taken place here, where you literally step back in history into an 1860's Grand Inn with every comfort of the 21st century at hand. Our location, in the historic Faubourg Marigny section of New Orleans enables our guests to enjoy the close proximity of the French Quarter (only 5 blocks) and the Frenchman Street shops and restaurants

Everything about our stay was amazing! My boyfriend ended up proposing to me there and it couldn't have been more perfect. I would absolutely recommend it.

We recently stayed at Elysian Fields during St. Patricks Day. The Inn is so beautiful and clean. The rooms are super cute with a ton of charm! Its in a quiet area and the owners are great! They made us a delicious breakfast and we were able to eat outside. I loved this inn and I would definitely recommend staying here!

Elysian Fields Inn was a wonderful place to stay while in New Orleans. Short distance to French Quarter, nice size rooms and private bathroom, amazing breakfast, very kind owners, and a great value. The owners clearly care about their Inn and customers. It truly was an outstanding experience!

We arrived in New Orleans with great expectations re : the music, history, general atmosphere etc. Thanks to the Elysian Fields, coupled with Leigh and Jim's expert advise New Orleans more than exceeded our expectations. Many thanks, John & Jill from Knowle, England.

My father and I stayed at Elysian Fields for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Leigh and Jim were the best possible hosts, out room was perfect, and breakfast was not only included it was made to order! I can't say enough good things about this experience. I was sad to hear the Crawfords are selling the Inn. I so hope the new owners will uphold their high standards as the property is lovely.

Older style inn with history. Closeness to the French Quarter was a great benefit! Not the cheapest bed and breakfast but it is a tourist city and location is good.

We stayed in the suite for Mardi Gras and had a great time. This is a beautifully maintained property in a perfect location to get a to know the real New Orleans. We were made welcome from the moment of our booking and were sad to say good bye when we finished our stay. Our hosts were hospitable but not 'ever-present' and a mine of information about the city and the community. We would love to stay again!!

A few friends and I wanted to get away for a long weekend. I had read the reviews from others and agreed upon this B&B. After meeting the owners, I instantly knew it was going to be a good place to stay. Leigh and Jim were extremely nice people. Made us feel very welcome, always gave good advice for food, sights, etc. We stayed in the suite, which had some temperature issues (cold, and then very warm),...but nothing we couldn't handle, and promptly adjusted when we ask the Owners about it. Walking distance to all nightlife, food, shops, etc. I would definitely stay here again.
