The owners are very friendly and knowlegable about the city. The Inn is clean and in a good location. Right next to Frenchman St and the French Quarter. The room was nice and affordable. The Inn is a nice alternative to chain hotels. I recommend.

The house very beautiful and very clean. Sometimes in older homes you find that it is not very clean or updated but that is not the case with this B&B. The Breakfast was also very delicious. The owners were very nice and informative. Thanks for the experience.

Having never tried a Bed and Breakfast opportunity in the United States, I was unsure of what to expect. When my girl friend and I arrived, we were greeted by Jim and assisted into our room. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean, and exceeded my expectations. Leigh is a wealth of information about New Orleans and guided us to restaurants and activities..all within walking distance of the Inn. She is a delightful, vibrant conversationist and provided excellent breakfast choices. We have already made plans for future trips to New Orleans and are looking forward to staying again at Elysian FIelds Inn.

I stayed at Elysian Fields about 10 years ago and just returned this summer for another stay there. Different owners, but another excellent stay. Rooms are clean, well kept, and the owners were wonderful. Helpful, informative, gracious. Breakfasts were outstanding. Coffee was fantastic. I will return there as often as I can.

I'm not a big B&B person but we really wanted to stay out of the French Quarter and near Frenchman St. The Elysian Fields Inn fit that bill and had good reviews so we chose it. I'm glad we did (and not just because of the adorable dogs that live there). First, if you want to hang out in the Marigny, this is in the perfect location. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Leigh and Jim were very accommodating and a pleasure to chat with. We didn't have time to really stay for breakfast, but it certainly smelled delicious. Overall, we had a great stay!

Barbara and Joe Dee were thrilled about the appearance and comforts at the Elysian Fields Inn in New Orleans. The home was lovely in everyway. The owners were personable and easy to be around, being neither overbearing nor inaccessible. The breakfast meals were perfect and custom made and the extras were just right. We could not have expected anything more perfect for our stay in New Orleans in April.
