A remarkable transformation and renovation has taken place here, where you literally step back in history into an 1860's Grand Inn with every comfort of the 21st century at hand. Our location, in the historic Faubourg Marigny section of New Orleans enables our guests to enjoy the close proximity of the French Quarter (only 5 blocks) and the Frenchmen Street shops and restaurants

Perhaps the most outstanding aspect of Elysian Fields, in addition to your categories, was the friendliness and helpfulness of our hosts. Thank You!

Bob and Michelle were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast every morning was different and delicious. Wifi worked great. Just a flew blocks from Frenchmen St, but far enough away that it's quiet (I was in 204 and never heard a peep from the street). I was unfortunately quite sick when I arrived and Bob/Michelle recommended an urgent care that saw me almost immediately, ensured I could enjoy the rest of my vacation. They also gave us info about how to get discounted Lyft rides since we didn't have a car. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in NOLA! They're lucky I didn't steal their adorable dog Beck either ;) You won't regret staying here!

Our hosts, Michele and Bob, gave us a warm and friendly welcome as we arrived at their beautiful inn. They shared their knowledge about New Orleans and gave us great recommendations. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfasts were delicious. Even their dog, Beck, is delightful.

I went with my father, sister and daughter. We had a two room suite that was spacious and clean. The owners are super nice and accommodating (pun intended!) So close to Frenchman street where the best music is. Breakfasts were incredible. Go!

Well-appointed inn with nice rooms located only a 5 minute walk from 12 jazz clubs on Frenchmen St. Do not expect a lavish home style breakfast.

My husband and I spend 3 lovely days at Elysian B&B. The room was well decorated and cozy. The Aveda products were a nice touch! The B&B has a nice living room/breakfast area where one can hang out during the day. The hosts were amazing! Very welcoming, gave us great tips about local places to eat and overall information about the town. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. Location was great – walking distance to everything. When we made the booking, we were a bit concerned about the area but it turned out to be very safe. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

I stayed at Elysian Fields Inn for a 4 day weekend in Mardi Gras season. The accommodations were all as described. The hosts are lovely people, very friendly and willing to share information about local events. Michelle is a wonderful cook and provides a delicious breakfast every morning. For me, the location was perfect - short distance from Frenchman Street, but far enough that the noise didn't spill over. This was my third trip to New Orleans and I've stayed at different locations each time, but I'm hoping to book all of my future stays at Elysian Fields Inn.

Bob and I met in high school and have lived in Louisville KY and Atlanta GA before moving to New Orleans to take ownership of Elysian Fields Inn. One of our two daughters started her nursing career here and soon after met her husband, a native of New Orleans. We decided to consider a move here and we stayed at Elysian Fields Inn on one of our many visits. We fell in love with the Inn and are honored to carry on it's 15 year tradition of wowing guests.
