A remarkable transformation and renovation has taken place here, where you literally step back in history into an 1860's Grand Inn with every comfort of the 21st century at hand. Our location, in the historic Faubourg Marigny section of New Orleans enables our guests to enjoy the close proximity of the French Quarter (only 5 blocks) and the Frenchmen Street shops and restaurants

Our stay at the Elysian Fields Inn made our New Orleans experience! The historical house is a real beauty. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated and included Aveda amenities!! Michelle and Bob are wonderful hosts. Delicious homemade breakfasts, complete with fresh fruit, pastries and even champagne on Sunday! Bob's tips on places to visit was comprehensive and spot on! And the occasional visit from Beck (the dog) in the communal living room made me feel at home. Lastly, the location of the Inn is perfect. Only a 3 minute walk to Frenchman Street and a short walk further North to hidden local gems!! Just ask Bob where to go...

We had a delightful stay at Elysian Fields. Our hosts were a joy and took care of our every need. We hope to return to stay longer. We strongly recommend Elysian Fields for anyone who wants to enjoy great hospitality near the exciting French Quarter. Everything is just a short walking distance from the B & B.

Lovely Inn. The innkeepers Jim and Leigh were friendly and informative. The homemade breakfasts were delicious. One morning the breakfast casserole woke me up with the wonderful smell. Walking distance to French quarter and French market. There is a bus stop on same block also. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you both. Julie Manley

Jim and Leigh are the most kind, helpful inn keepers I have met. The Inn was clean, efficient and all together very well done. I love the atmosphere these two have made. The room was very cozy and gave us the genuine New Orleans feel. I would definitely stay over and over again.

Bob and I met in high school and have lived in Louisville KY and Atlanta GA before moving to New Orleans to take ownership of Elysian Fields Inn. One of our two daughters started her nursing career here and soon after met her husband, a native of New Orleans. We decided to consider a move here and we stayed at Elysian Fields Inn on one of our many visits. We fell in love with the Inn and are honored to carry on it's 15 year tradition of wowing guests.
