The Elysian Fields Inn newly painted in historic colors, Creole Pink and French Market Blue.
Our two room Suite, located on the main level of the Inn, offers a Queen bed as well as a Queen sofa sleeper in the sitting room. The rooms can be divided by pocket doors for privacy. The Suite provides a full private bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.
Guestroom 106 is a larger guestroom offering a King Sleigh Bed. High ceilings and large windows help to make this room one of our more popular guestrooms. Guestroom 106 also offers a large private bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.
All of our rooms at Elysian Fields Inn offer either King or Queen bed and full private bathrooms. Newly renovated in 2002, all fixtures and furnishings were added at that time.
While all rooms boast full private bathrooms, most of the Inn bathrooms provide Jacuzzi tubs. What better way to finish off your day than relaxing in your own Jacuzzi.
Our Standard Guestrooms are extremely comfortable rooms with all of the same amenities of our Superior Rooms. 14 foot ceilings and large windows help create a very spacious feeling.
Both Guestrooms 201 and 202 are located on the upper floor of the Inn and are large, airy rooms with lots of natural light pouring in from several windows in each room. Both rooms offer full private bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs.
All of our Guestrooms are comfortable, spacious and well appointed and offer full private bath.
No Bed and Breakfast would be complete without a four-poster bed. Guestroom 204 is located on the upper level of the Inn and boasts a private bath with Jacuzzi tub.

I don't think I can express in words how much this place exceeded our expectations. We love the area and convenience of the location. The breakfast was BY FAR better than anything we have ever had at any other BNB we've stayed at in New Orleans. The hospitality was TOP NOTCH! We had a wonderful stay! Leigh and Jim are very gracious hosts and they share their love and knowledge of New Orleans. The breakfasts were the perfect start to each day! The Inn is within walking distance to the French Quarter! And it was a treat to walk back along Frenchmen Street at night and listen to all of the music! We will stay with Leigh and Jim again the next time we visit!!!

The one main drawback is the room didn't have it's own thermostat to cool the warm room which made it tough to sleep.

I am very sorry that this guest found it hard to sleep because of the temperature in their room. Unfortunately in a 150 year old historic home it is not possible to put in individual heating/cooling units like you might find in a hotel or motel. We were sad, when we had to leave. We felt like, we were staying with friends and not at a B&B. Leigh and Jim made us great breakfasts, there was always coffee there, and insider tips on where to go for food and great clubs. We loved Zeke (white Lab), who was always on hand for being pet.We miss him. It was a perfect stay and when we come back, we will only stay at Elysian Fields Inn. Len and Silke Lovett
