Our b&b features spacious and comfortable guest rooms. Our guest suites are appointed with egyptian cotton sheets and towels for your comfort. From our b&b you can walk to New Orleans finest restaurants, bars, French Quarter, French Market, Convention Center and the Louisiana Superdome.     DRIVING FROM THE AIRPORT Take 1-10 toward downtown New Orleans and follow the signs to the Westbank and Mississippi River Bridge. Cross over the bridge to General DeGaulle East exit - take the ramp to the left stay left and continue to the traffic light. Go left at light Shirley Drive. Follow Shirley Drive to the end. There is a traffic signal, here you will go left. At the next traffic light go right onto Behrman Place. Behrman Place turns into Opelousas. Follow Opelousas Street to Algier's Pointe and we are located at 434. Average taxi fare from the airport with tip is $35.00 We recommend United Cab at 504-522-9771 for your airport transfer.

    The Opelousas Inn, built in the late 1800's is of Greek Revival style arciture with large pillars and front gallery.  This unique structure is also a camelback, which was a very popular style built in New Orleans during this time period.
