    Great time

    September 17, 2012

Me and my wife stayed there August 2012, we had such a great time, Karen was very nice, the room was nice, and she always had fresh muffins in our rooms. There were many great places to eat near Dauphine house. I cant wait to stay there again.

    September 07, 2012

Everything on the website proves true once you arrive at Dauphine House. The home is beautiful and on a quiet street. The neighbors are very warm and kind. Karen, the owner, is wonderful and so welcoming. She even checked in on us the evening before our arrival just to wish us a safe trip and let us know she'd be there to greet us when we arrived (we drove 24 hours straight), even offering to make dinner reservations for us. The rooms are decorated beautifully, very clean and comfortable. Bed was perfect, plenty of pillows and soft, clean linens. A/C worked great! The room was cleaned everyday, and the breakfast basket restocked with fresh baked pastries, muffins, and fruit. Karen gave us so many ideas for dining, music, tours, and local hotspots. You'll never get this kind of hospitality anywhere else. We will definitely be going back.

I must say that my husband and I were very impressed w/the room (Igenue), it looked just like the picture on-line! The bathroom was as large as the bedroom; the muffins were in abundance and the fridge had fresh OJ. Karen was a great host, providing maps for the local attractions. We will always make this our home away from home when we are in New Orleans. Thxs Karen for ALL that you did to make our stay memorable. Fred & Donna Myles (Charlotte, NC)

This B&B is the best. We would not stay at any other. Karen was so helpful, and she really makes you feel like family. The rooms clean and have everything you would need for your stay. We will be back.

    Excellent! Thanks!

    June 29, 2010

Recently stayed here for a weekend in the French Quarter. This place was amazing, the owner is also a tour guide and her recommendations ended being the best places we visited. Location, value, atmosphere - everything about this place was outstanding. Thanks!

A lovely inn in a quiet corner of town!

    April 13, 2009

This is the place to stay if you love the NOLA scene but want to have a quiet, peaceful B&B to come 'home' to at the end of the day. Innkeeper Karen was really helpful in pointing out a great nearby coffee place and local breakfast joint. She also made me feel like I was an old friend in town for a visit. What a great experience!
