What a wonderful experience..Let me start with the Host Charles, he is AMAZING...Great personality so sweet I could go on for days. The house is beautiful and very clean. The food was out of this world and the best part was that Charles shared his wonderful recipes..I just can't say enough about the whole experience. Thank you Charles for sharing your home with us..

We arrived after dark, but the house was warm and inviting! The back porch lights welcomed us to sit and relax before dinner. What a delight it was to enjoy an evening on the banks of the Cane River with friends. Our daughters were running the next morning in the cross country state meet and this was our time to relax before the big event. The next morning, we were awakened to the delicious scents of coffee and breakfast. Charles had the table set beautifully. This was such a treat in every way. The food was divine and Charles was the perfect host. We will plan on coming again. Our only regret was that we couldn't spend another day at Violet Hill!

    Great in every way

We stayed at the Violet Hill, after hearing how nice it was when our friends spent a weekend there over the summer. We were not disapointed. The location is perfect for a nice short walk to the center of everything. The house is beautiful and the service is far better than I could have imagined. Charles is a gracious host who really makes you feel welcome. The food is amazing, and the fellow house guest made the entire weekend special. My husband and I can't wait to return. Thanks you Charles for everything.
