Upon entering the Judge Porter House your eyes will be drawn to one of two beautiful German cut crystal chandeliers. Please take a moment and sign the guest book located on the petticoat table or relax on one of the Rosewood upholstered chairs. At Christmas time guests are greeted with a spectacular 10 foot tall Christmas Tree.
The Judge Porter Bedroom, one of five Elegant rooms, contains a queen size mahogany full tester bed (Circa 1830). A soft sage green wall color has been used to coordinate with navy and jewel tone paisley drapes. Large, stately, red tapestry chairs allow you to feel as if you are holding court with Judge Porter himself. This room, which is located on the first floor, includes a large, private bath.
The Downstairs parlor is next to the Entrance Hall which is the home to one of two beautiful German cut crystal chandeliers. Relax by the fireplace in a sleepy hollow chair or browse the latest current magazines on the empire sofa.
