Camellia House Bed and Breakfast
The Camellia House B&B is a gracious old "Raised Louisiana Cottage" located in the heart of Covington's downtown historic district. Step off our porch and walk the town, browse our wonderful shops, dine at our fine restaurants, enjoy our many street fairs and festivals,walk or ride the Tammany Trace, and then - come home. Come home to swing on the porch, float in the pool, sit fireside in the garden, relax in the outdoor hot tub, and then nestle into a luxurious bed. Our suite has bedroom, private sunporch/sitting room and private bath. Suite has its own private entrance from front porch. You enter thru french doors into bedroom furnished in antiques and accented with Louisiana architectural pieces. Large sunfilled bedroom has queen bed, cable tv/vcr, WIRELESS INTERNET and desk area. French doors then lead to private sunporch/sitting room and private bath. The sunporch/sitting room is glass enclosed and overlooks lush tropical gardens and hot tub area. Sunporch has twin bed, iron breakfast set, reading area, microwave, coffee service and fully stocked refrigerator. Breakfast of fresh fruit, fresh pastries, juice, cereals, yogurt..... placed fresh each evening in sunporch so that you may rise and dine at your leisure. - Cancellations:
Cancellations within 14 days of checkin of your first nights stay are subject to charge for the entire reservation if room cannot be comparably rebooked. Any nights that are rebooked will be refunded - those not rebooked will be charged. Credit cards are charged the full amount for entire reservation 14 days prior to arrival. If arrangments have been made to pay by check - check is due for entire reservation amount 14 days prior to arrival also. Presentation of actual credit card and cardholder signature will be required at checkin to complete transaction. All holiday and special event nights are subject to 30 day cancellation policy (same as above except 30 days) and will be stated at time reservation is made. Reservation confirmation will be supplied by e-mail or US postal service.

Linda and Don are native New Orleanians who escaped the big city 10 years ago to experience the sense of community and small town feel that Covington offers. Their lives changed - they opened their own business - a lawn and landscape maintenance business - and then a B&B. They are living their dreams. Don loves to work outside, exercise and live healthy. Linda loves to garden (La. Master Gardener class of 1998), collect antiques and architectural salvage, and renovate old homes. - The innkeepers speak: English
