Bellavista Bed and Breakfast is in a splendidly decorated 1920’s villa overlooking Lake Como and the surrounding mountains and is situated in the charming village of Torno. There are two big comfortable bedrooms and a private bathroom completely separate from the rest of the house, and a delightful garden with panoramic views over the lake. We serve a good, copious fresh breakfast, and are happy to help with suggestions for excursions, walks, boat trips, restaurants etc. We also offer the use of our private garage. We are 7kms from Como; the bus stop is just below the house, or one can arrive by boat. We prefer non-smokers (or those who smoke only in the garden!) And we are happy to accept well-behaved pets.

All this could be summed up thus: a magical fairytale world where time flows slowly in the perception of sensations now forgotten. The bed and breakfast Antico Borgo Sanda offers a charming environment and class a few minutes from Lake Maggiore, sheltered from city traffic.

Como, at the end of the western branch of the lake is a city of Roman foundation. The urban plan has been developed, at least until the middle of the century. XIX, modeled on the courtyard house, directly derived from the Roman domus. Inside the walled city, characterized by buildings of great historical and artistic importance, the road stretches Giovio, dedicated since 1887 to the illustrious family from the island Comacina Como. The apartment on the third floor of the historic building has been recently adapted to the lodging industry, enhancing environment and facilities and creating the right balance between functionality and ambience.
