Bridgewater Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 lb Sage Sausage
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Sharp Cheese
  • pinch Fresh Basil, Oregano, Italian Parsley
  • 1 3/4 Hamburger Buns

  1. Spray Pam in a small casserole or quiche dish. Break up Hamburger Buns into tiny pieces and place them into the bottom of the casserole dish
  2. Fry sausage. Drain. Place sausage on top of bun pieces. Place cheese on top of sausage.
  3. Break four eggs into a bowl. Beat with whisk. Add milk, mustard, salt, and herbs. Pour egg mixture over the bread, sausage,and cheese in the casserole dish
  4. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25-38 minutes, depending on depth of bowl and heat variance of oven. The casserole will puff and rise like a souffle. Remove when golden brown. Do not overcook. Egg mixture will continue to cook after removal from oven.
