Almond-Encrusted French Toast Fingers Drizzled w/ Homemade Maple Syrup and Garnished w/ Fresh Fruit

10 Slices Bread
1/4 Cup Half & Half
3 Tablespoons Cinnamon Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Ground Almonds
1 tsp Salt
2 Tablespoons Almond Extract
4 Tablespoons Margarin
1/4 lb Grapes
1/4 cup Maple Syrup
Remove the crusts from the bread and cut each slice in half to form french toast fingers.
In a bowl whisk Eggs, Half and Half, Cinnamon Sugar, Salt, and Almond Extract.
Warm a pan with Margarin. (1 Tablespoon for 5 sticks)
Dip the bread into the egg mixture, then coat with almond crumbs and place in pan.
Cook for 2-3 min or until golden brown. Garnish the french toast with confectioners sugar and fresh cut fruit: Mango, Cantaloupe, Orange, Strawberry, Grapes and Pomegranate Seeds. Drizzle with "Silverstone Inn and Suites Homemade Maple Syrup"(fresh from our maple grove) and enjoy!
