Williamsburg Manor French Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 Loaves Freshly Baked Soft Italian Bread
  • 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 dozen Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Nutmeg

  1. With a bread knife slice the Bread into one inch slices.
  2. Measure Flour into a large mixing bowl. Slowly whisk in the heavy cream. Whisk in the remaining ingrediants until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Heat a lightly buttered grilled over medium heat.
  4. Soak the bread sliced in the mixture until satuarated.
  5. Griddle bread on each side until golden brown. Serve Hot
