Cherry Brandy Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Brandy
  • 1/4 cup Red Wine
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 black pepper corns
  • 2 cups water
  • 10 pitted cherries cut in half

  1. Place all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Be careful, the ingredients will expand and get very hot
  2. Reduce by half and then let cool. If the sauce is too thick, add more water, bring to a boil again and then cool
  3. Remove the cinnamon sticks and pepper corns
