Apple Oven Pancake

Ingredients

  • 4 Apples
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Butter

  1. Heat oven to 400' In a large cast iron skillet (13 inch) melt the butter in the oven, 2-3 minutes
  2. Peel, core, and slice 3-4 apples, toss in brown sugar and cinnamon. Add to melted butter and cook 3-5 minutes in oven
  3. In a bowl, mix Bisquick, buttermilk, sugar, and eggs until blended. Pour over apples.
  4. Bake in 400' oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Cut into 8 wedges. Drizzle with Maple Syrup and serve immediately. Sliced Ham is a nice addition served with the Pancake.
