I stayed here for a full week with two of my friends. It was, in a word, PERFECT. Ms. Ricci is very no nonsense but very very nice, even making sure we had a car picking us up at the airport. Everything was extremely clean (and I'm rather persnickety about such things). After hearing so much about the noise in Rome, we were surprised at how quiet the neighborhood was. Having a terrace was lovely, we were charmed by the elevator, it felt like home. The only complaint we could come up with is that the beds were so comfortable, it was a bit difficult getting up in the mornings.

    Best people, location and value!

My husband and I travel a lot and were very pleased with teh B&B Terrazze. So much that we extended our trip and stayed an extra week at this B&B. You have to be realistic and not expect a 5 start Marriott executive suite at this price!!! European traveling is a lot different than US traveling and while most B&B offers very small rooms, the ones at Le Terrazze are a very, very good size and ask for the room with private Terrace, it is the best. If you can't get it, there a terrace all around the building on the roof top and it is just awesome to have dinner there at night. What make this place are the location (15 min to Vatican, 10 min to metro (which we got a pass and did lots on metro, otherwise by walk), 10 min from a great grocery store where we got food almost every night for our candlelight dinner on the patio(we brought oru little candles), the people are great, they even let you use a little kitchen and the breakfast are simple, plenty of food delivered to your room or taken in the kitchen at you will. We stayed in touch with the owner and Chandy who prepared the breakfast every morning and took care of our room. Be open minded, get to know them and keep in mind that anywhere else in Rome, it is fairly noisy(busy and with the trains) and this location is the best as it is on a secondary road and if you don't like to walk, you get on a metro and within 10 minutes you are anywhere you want. Bring ear plugs, we stayed at 4 bed and breakfast during our 1 month stay in Europe (Amalfi Coast, Rome, Florence, Tuscany), and it makes a HUGE difference. Stay there, be realistic, the expect a four season type of accomodation at the price you are paying, but to us, it was very comfortable, clean, well located, and services by extremely nice people. Email me if you have any questions

Kandy the lady that looked after the rooms was so helpful. She booked us a taxi for our return to the airport, and helped with directions. The area was not central enough and after a long day out the last thing you need is a trek from the metro station. Quiet area and close to bus stops, but metro was 20 minutes walk away. Good market at the very bottom of the road
