The house is a 19th century bourgeois “maison de maitre” which retains many of its original features. Martin and Abigail bought the house in January 2009 and set about creating a boutique Chambres D’Hotes . Luckily much of the house had not suffered the indignity of earlier restoration keeping many of the original features including a hand-gilded ceiling in the salon, marble fireplaces and terrazzo floors.
