Green Acres Bed & Breakfast is situated on nearly 6 acres of waterfront property located on the Louisiana side of the Toledo Bend Reservior (mid-lake off of San Miguel Bay). This is a great option for a couple who enjoys fishing or boating but who doesn't want to rough it. Your accommodations are in the Master Bedroom of a Lakefront home, where you will enjoy a king size bed, a private bathroom, and a personal satellite TV. Additionally, we are now offering a limited Spa/Massage Service (in-room). We also offer a private boat launch, areas to charge your boat batteries, a swim/sun deck, a trapeze swing, and great views of the lake.     Directions can be found on our web site which includes yahoo maps. From LA Interstate 49 take exit #138/Hwy 6(Natchitoches/Many exit). Procce on Hwy 6 turn west for 35.6 miles (through Many, LA). At the intersection of Hwy 6 and 191 (stop sign) turn North (R). Continue on 191 for 6.8 miles to Carters Ferry Road and turn left. Continue on Carters Ferry Road for 2.5 miles and turn right on to LeBrun Drive following road to Green Acres Fishing Lodge and Bed & Breakfast.

  • Directions from airport:
    Take I-49 South to exit #172 Grand Bayou/Mansfield. Turn on to Hwy 84 West, stay on 84 for approx. 10 miles. Turn on to US 171 South toward Zwolle, LA. Stay on 171 for 31 miles and at Zwolle straight onto LA475 (N. Orbie St.). Turn left on to LA 191 South. Stay on 191 South to Carters Ferry Road and turn right. Stay on Carters Ferry Road for 2.5 miles and then turn right on to LeBrun Drive, follow road to Green Acres Fishing Lodge and Bed & Breakfast.

    A "Bunk House" is available for families or groups of 4 to 8 people. The Bunk House has two bedrooms, the first having 4 queen size beds and the second having 4 twin size beds. There is also a bath room, a full kitchen, and an area for grilling, as well as, nearby restaurants and groceries.

      Since we are located on a lake and many of our guests like to get an early start on fishing, boating, or even an early round of golf, we are offering either a Bed & Breakfast or a Bed & Lunch. Arrangements need to be made in advance if you would like to have more of a Brunch service or if you would like a hot Lunch served instead of Breakfast.

    • Minimum stay required (On weekends and fishing tournaments there is a 2 night minimum)
    • Smoking is allowed outside only (No smoking indoors)
    • We cannot accommodate guest pets
    • Limitations on children staying (B&B bedroom only has a King sized bed/Call to discuss needs)
    • No childcare is provided
    • Consumption of alcohol is permitted
    • Deposit amount required (A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation.)
    • Check in time is 2:00pm and Check out time is 11:00am
    • Cancellations:
      If you have to cancel your reservation and it is done at least 10 days prior to your arrival, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations of less than 10 days prior to your arrival you will loose your deposit. Cancellations of less than 48 hours prior to your arrival date, you will be charged the full rental amount.

    This is a closer view of the back porch area of Green Acres B&B. As our guests, you will have access to the main house and the many picnic and sitting areas around the property.Green Acres is in a protective cove and has some greast views of the lake. This photo was taken off of the back porch early one morning to give you an idea of what you will wake up to here on Toledo Bend.
    Green Acres is a one room Bed and Breakfast where you will receive individual attention or the privacy you require. The B&B is located in the Master Bedroom, where you will enjoy a comfortable King size bed, a private bathroom, and a personal TV.Since Green Acres B&B is located on a lake and near a world-class golf course, many of our guests want to start their day early to enjoy all that Toledo Bend has to offer. Therefore, we offer either a Breakfast, Brunch, or Lunch with your rental. Meals times are flexible but arrangements need to be made in advance.
    Green Acres Bed and Breakfast guests have access to the main house. You can enjoy the privacy of your own room or you can visit with us in the common areas of the house including the Great Room (pictured) or the Game Room (just off of the kitchen).The Great Room of the Green Acres B&B includes as 62" big screen TV, a fireplace, and a game table for cards or board games.
    Green Acres B&B has a Boat House Pavillion which includes a floating swim/sun deck and a trapeze swing for our more adventurous guests.If you bring your boat, Green Acres B&B has a private deep water boat launch for our guests as well. We also have a number of electrical outlets for easy battery charging. If you want to fish and you don't have a boat, Toledo Bend has a number of great fishing guides or we have a number of areas to fish from our shoreline.
    If you have a larger group interested in coming to the lake we also offer a "Bunk House" rental. We offer two bedrooms, one with 4 queen size beds and the other with 4 twin size beds.
