    The Perfect Bed and Breakfast

    August 07, 2012

Dansereau House is a charming historical home located in the beautiful wetlands of southern Louisiana. Innkeepers Paul and Lori Worrell pamper the guest with warm southern hospitality without invading your personal space. The house is beautifully decorated in period furnishings and immaculately clean. Our room had floor to ceiling windows and a door which opened to the balcony. This allowed natural sunlight to flow through the room. Lori is a gourmet cook. Each breakfast was varied and delicious, with stunning presentation. We hope to return for a longer stay.

    Over-the-Top Bed & Breakfast

    May 02, 2012

This is by far the best B&B there is on the PLANET, for every reason. It's knock-your-socks-off gorgeous, with owners who are wonderful AND great cooks; furnishings (WOW) impeccable, comfy beds, perfect bathroom; location perfect and quietly tucked into a side street with no traffic; they have a small really charming bar "The Drinkery"open on Thursday (check on this) that serves drinks and appetizers. We LOVED-LOVED-LOVED Dansereau House!

    Family Wedding

    February 13, 2012

My sister and I stayed at the Dansereau House Bed & Breakfast while attending a family wedding in Houma, LA. We shared a room on the 3rd floor and felt as if we were living in a castle. The room was absolutely gorgeous with beautiful chandeliers, antique furniture, and a fireplace. The bathroom had a marvelous jacuzzi tub and a beautiful marble walk in shower. Paul was very curteous and gave us a tour of the entire home. Lori served us a gourmet breakfast each morning in their fine dining room. We were treated like royalty and hated to leave. Thank you for such a wonderful time. I will definately visit the Dansereau House again! Lisa Mokwa

    Great time ay Dansereau House

    November 26, 2011

I stayed at this Bed and Breakfast for one night only but it was so much worth it. We had 2 rooms across from each other and had some great time on the balcony that surrounds the all house. Paul was extremely welcoming, available, interested in his guests. He showed us the all house and gave us the history of it. The bedrooms were very comfy (not too big but clean and elegant). We came with Harley Davidson and they had a covered parking for us. The breakfast....Ahhhhh.....The breakfast from Lori (who is a chef) was AMAZING (eggs benedict, potato gratin, yogurt and berries, cooked apple with delicious sauce, homemade muffins....). Thank you both of you for your charming place.

    Peaceful with exceptional breakfast!

    October 16, 2011

Out stay was perfect. We wanted a quiet, peaceful place to relax the night before we headed to Oak Alley Plantation for their Arts and Crafts Festival. This place was 20 minutes from the Festival and in a quiet town perfect for relaxing. We relaxed on the veranda in rocking chairs and the stress melted off. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. The staff was so friendly, warm, and helpful for finding excellent food for dinner that night. The best part was the breakfast. It was the best I ever had and definitely cooked with love and loving attention to detail. My boyfriend and I are vegetarians and they were so accommodating. We had chocolate chip muffins, a fresh berry yogurt parfait, french toast with candied almonds, a spinach quiche, and a cooked apple treat all homemade, fresh, and delicious. We could barely eat the rest of the day because we were so full :) Superb! Thank you!
