A friend and I stayed here the night before the Angola Rodeo and had an awesome time. Way better (and around the same price) as staying in a hotel, plus there are no good hotels in the area. Also, we visited a bunch of other plantations in the area just for tours and Greenwood was still our favorite, and, we thought, the most beautiful—it was a great place to wake up!

We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was VERY good. Beautiful property setting! I just wished it hadn't rained everyday. On a lesser note our door lock would get stuck and you couldn't lick it or unlock it.

When I made my reservation based on the online pictures, I thought I was getting a room with a canopy bed. While a lovely four poster- no canopy. Breakfast was delightful as was the setting. We did have noisy upstairs neighbors , until 2 am, and with no house phone to report to management , we survived with earplugs. We were there for a wedding and the small, intimate setting contributed to the success. I would certainly stay there again, but in an upstairs room.

I have stayed at many B&B plantations throughout the south but the Greenwood is my favorite. As a matter of fact, for the past 4 years its the only B&B that I'll take the time to visit. Ms. Victoria welcomes me with a wonderful smile and has such a sweet personality. She opens her home to people and shares the history of not only of the house but her life also as a child growing up in such a remarkable place. I'll never stay anywhere else but at the Greenwood. Peaceful and solitude, its perfect for a weekend get away and a long stay..which I do both at the Greenwood.

I am not sure you can ask for a more scenic or secluded getaway location. The Greenwood Plantation and its history make this B&B a must for anyone's list. Do not pass up on the plantation home tour during your stay.

The room was nice. Housekeeping needs to be improved. Coffee grounds were left in coffee pot and half used shampoo container was in the soap dish. Rooms need a little TLC. The place needs some up keep. The grounds are beautiful.

Beautiful place. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed the house tour by the owener of the plantation. The grounds were wonderful. All together, one of the best B&B experiences I've had. The locals in town were inviting and recommended a great place to eat.
