We were blown away by the beauty and comfort of our accommodations. We expected a room with a bath, and instead we found more of an apartment. The bedroom and bath are capacious and the attached sunroom allowed one of us to read while the other slept in. The home itself is a work of art from the front lawn in. Lots of collectibles and beautiful photographs. Eliot is an excellent host, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone, whether they're looking for a Mid-City location or elsewhere. I look forward to going back.

My mom and I stayed there in March. Laura and Eliot were very nice and we enjoyed the conversation with both of them. They both provided a lot of information about places to eat within walking distance of the house. The house and gardens were very beautiful. Breakfast was excellent. I would stay here any time I am in New Orleans. Highly recommended.

The room was excellent, and since they only have one room available, they cater to you. I was able to call and get directions to the nearest and best eatery while we were out one day, and they didn't blink. Since Eliot is a former food editor at the Times-Picayune (I'm pretty sure), he knows all about places to eat and things to do. The room, grounds and house were all gorgeous. It was such a nice stay!
