Oakview is conveniently and ideally located in the heart of mid city less than 5 minutes from the French Quarter. It is walking distance to Jazz fest,Voodoo fest, the New Orleans Museum,three major cemeteries, the beginning of the street car, the Endymion parade and The exclusive Ralph on the Park restaurant.Three rooms are two room suites very reasonably priced,with two more large rooms--one equipped with a Mandures Opium bed and all Asian decor. Common areas include an open bar/game room, a hugh dining room,a comfortable fouyer,and both second and third floor outdoor decks with a fantastic view of both City Park and Bayou St John.
