It is a lovely B&B. It has beautiful grounds with flowers and plants and paths to follow. I cannot wait to go back for a longer visit.

My husband and I stayed here one night for an anniversary getaway. We stayed in the Marie Antoinette room. It was just as the picture described and was very clean. The bed was comfy also. There were only a few things I wasn't completely satisfied with and that was: the bathroom in this room only had a narrow tub with jets. It was nice but the hand held shower head was somewhat awkward to use, especially for my husband. The water was yellow and felt slimy. Other than that the room was excellent. The breakfast was a light continental breakfast but the fresh fruit was frozen solid. The inn keepers were nice but there was not a designated check in or out spot so it made for an awkward entry and exit. Overall our stay was very pleasant though and I would definitely recommend staying here. The price was also very affordable.

Loved the size of the room, and the jacuzzi tub was heavenly. We didn't rate the room outstanding because the shower was quite small and we had to view the TV through the foot board. However, we did mention the TV placement, and we expect David will mount it on the wall soon. Service was exceptional except we learned our room was being shown while occupied when entry was made without knocking while we were in the room. However, even if we were not there, we would have a security concern about showing our room with our belongings in view. The value is definitely outstanding, and everything was sparkling clean. It is a beautifully romantic setting. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast, which was the same all three days, and included fruit that was still frozen. The omelette was fluffy, but the taste was somehow off -- maybe the type of oil it was cooked in. The croissant rolls, on the other hand, were absolutely outstanding. We highly recommend La Michebelle and we will definitely plan to visit again in the future. I think maybe the staffing was down while we were there because it was over Christmas Day. We had a very relaxing mini vacation and thank David for everything!

Stayed the weekend and so didn't want to leave. It's the most peaceful place I think I've ever stayed and a nice little get away close to home.. The breakfast was nice and David makes you feel right at home , can't wait to go back soon.

My wife and I along with other guest stayed at Michabelle Inn, I have to say that I have never been more comfortable than when we stayed there. Iwe were greeted by Chef Michel and his lovely wife and we spent time before and after the wedding enjoying the comforts that Michabelle has to offer. Chef Michel and I shared recipes and talked about world travels. The whole experience of Michabelle is truly amazing. Thanks to Chef Michel and everyone for a truly remarkable stay. We will be coming again and again to enjoy Hammond and south Louisiana.
