My wife and I had a fantastic weekend getaway stay at the Inn. The rooms were clean, service was friendly, and it was relaxing experience. We had the room at the bottom of the stairs. We're both heavy sleepers so it wasn't a bother for us; however, if you sleep lightly, I recommend you stay in another room. The sound of people going up/down the steps and in/out the front door (or on the front porch) has the potential to wake you. Overall, a great experience at the Inn. We would definitely stay again.

Nice B&B. The owners were wonderful, bed was better than my own, and breakfast was great.

Very spacious rooms. Pam is a great cook and made our breakfasts to order - fabulous! The Inn has a restaurant Wed.-Sun. that we didn't have a chance to visit, but menu looked great! Inn is 10 miles off I-64. Room was lovely, but lacked some amenities we've had in other B&Bs., no individual soaps or shampoos, no snacks or coffee/tea in the room. Did have TV, DVD player and fireplace in the room and loads of DVDs in the main check-in area. Old house with unusual layout. Quite unique - we like that, but others may be used to more traditional B&Bs.

The Inn is very clean, homey and well decorated. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We relaxed on the front porch; sitting on the swing and enjoyed happy hour.

My wife and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at this b&b. Our room, nautical themed king on 1st floor, was spacious and a fun theme. There were a few small 'quirky' issues with the room, but that is to be expected at any b&b room and ultimately didn't take away from the experience. Both breakfasts was very tasty and plentiful and the staff were very friendly. The innkeepers mostly kept to themselves so we felt we had a lot of privacy during our stay. The location was absolutely perfect for hitting the Eastern portion of the KY bourbon trail. The town is located in the middle of the actual horse country (not as prolific as you'd think). Be sure to drive from the inn over to Midway for the best scenic drive. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.

Establishment was run down and cluttered. Furniture was shabby. No room climate control, extremely hot. Bed comforter stained, worn out mattress. Shower wouldn't drain. Refrigerator in the bathroom. Entrance was back door with no common area in evidence. Would not recommend at any price.

When I came to Montgomery Inn, I arrived to be pampered and catered to. The food was just fantastic, no matter which meal I ate. The Inn has a relaxing and family feel. My room was so quaint and filled with spa accessories to enjoy. Thank you Pam for a great stay.

Pamela's Homemade Granola
Wonderfully buttery and cinnamony crunch, we serve it atop our yogurt parfait, but it is equally good as a snack mix or cereal, easy cobbler topping or over icecream! Mix together old fashioned oats, cinnamon, brown sugar, pich of salt, and favorite broken nuts (we like pecans). Drizzle with melted butter, spread out thin on a jellyroll pan and toast & stir until gently browned. Will crisp as it cools. Yum! Try adding dried cranberries or raisins, too.
