Miss Lucie's Room is a very romantic section of our Kentucky Inn. It has been the honeymoon suite, the anniversary choice, and a wonderful choice for a weekend away. It has recently been updated by adding a king size bed. The bathroom has a double marble jacuzzi, which is highlighted by the dark beadboard from an old closet in the house, and the original stained glass window which gave light for the closet. There is a federal style fireplace.

The Terrell Room is on the main floor of the house, and has 14 foot ceilings. The Terrell Room has a private bath with a regular tub and shower and is very spacious. Also your private refrigerator and microwave make an almost perfect "small kitchen". The walls of the "main house" are almost 2 feet thick, so this is a very PRIVATE place in our Kentucky Inn. The first floor location is an advantage for many. Enjoy your favorite book in the reading corner.

Julia's Room has a queen canopy bed, and a private bath with shower. There are plenty of pillows to get comfy while you read or watch a movie on the VCR. A window seat overlooking the side yard to watch the sunrise, a large desk for writing and organizing, make Julia's Room versatile and interesting. Julia's Room is on the second floor, near the upstairs sitting room where there's lots of room to relax, help yourself to sodas, popcorn, or use the microwave. Some of our basic amenities at our Kentucky Inn.

    • Beds

      1 King

    • Bathroom

      Private Bath

      (high/low season) N/A

A warm airy feeling to this corner desk makes a great spot to write. Available as king bed or two twin beds. South's bathroom is "adjacent", which means it is a hall bath. It is private, designated for use only by those from South's Room, and a bath in the antique claw foot tub is a real treat.

    The Cottage

    Suite maximum capacity: 4

    • Beds

      1 Queen

    • Bathroom

      Private Bath

    • Nightly Rate

      (high/low season) N/A

The cottage bedroom has a queen sized bed, an elegant quilt, and a view of the back yard, gardens, and grazing animals! Historically, the cottage was the kitchen, and there are burn marks on the hardwood floor from this activity. The cottage sitting room in our Kentucky Bed and Breakfast has a daybed, with a comfortable twin mattress. There is also a pull-out trundle twin mattress underneath, so there is a possibility of sleeping 4 persons if you want. This daybed makes a romantic spot for watching a movie on your flat screen TV/VCR/DVD setup.

    Travelers Room

    • Beds

      1 Queen

    • Bathroom

      Private Bath

    • Nightly Rate

      (high/low season) N/A

The Traveler's Room is upstairs and is accessed through the side entrance of our Kentucky Inn. It has poplar hardwood floors, a jacuzzi in the bedroom, a little table by the window and is very romantic and private. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in to stay here as well. In the late 1800's "travelers" unknown to the family used this suite, accessing it by an outside staircase. This is the queen sized bed, with comfy pillows and plenty of bedside reading light.

Stayed for one evening in this charming home. We loved the accommodations and the breakfast the next morning was delicious. A beautiful small town with lots of interesting shops, friendly faces, and gorgeous scenic drives to surrounding horse farms. We so enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I stayed at Rose Hill Inn for our first wedding anniversary. We stayed in Ms. Lucies and had a wonderful time. The room was very nice and peaceful. Furnished with antique furniture and modern appliances like a flat screen tv. We were very happy with our breakfast and plan to make this a tradition every anniversary. You won't be disappointed.
