This 7,000 sq. ft. Inn is located in the heart of the Smiths Grove historic and antique district, offers private baths, kingsize beds, sitting areas, central heat and air, 12' high ceilings, original chandeliers, two parlors, a library, and a dining room where you will be served a hot elegant breakfast every morning. Built in 1875 this historic mansion now offers a sense of history and a sense of elegance as it welcomes travelers to a unique experience. Heralded by our guests as one of the best B & B's they have ever stayed at. An evening spent on the large wraparound porch is an evening to remember. As you explore the grounds your experience will continue, with brick walkways leading to a large cast iron fountain, a rock garden with benches, all surrounded by a cast iron fence.

We stayed over night to visit family in the area and it was well worth it. We were the only ones at the inn on a Tuesday night and we were able to see all of the rooms which were lovely. We stayed in the Ashley room and it was very comfortable and the furnishings and decorations were great, as were all the rooms in the house! The grounds were very pretty with a lot of plants and flowers to look at. The B&B is within walking distance to all of the shops in Smith's Grove and we took advantage of that. Breakfast was delicious and Steve and Kathy are wonderful hosts. They even have a Screech Owl in the huge trees out front to welcome you home after dark! We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

One of my best friends and myself went on a girl's road trip through Ky. One of our stops was the Victorian House for 2 nights. We hiked at Mammoth Cave during the day. We went to Bowling Green for dinner. This was very convenient to both. Kathy has done an terrific job decorating this house and she and Steve were great to talk to. House was decorated for Easter with cute eggs and bunny rabbits. Breakfast was extra tasty and Kathy and Steve went out of their way to make a birthday celebration. From check in to check out everything was wonderful. Will definitely return with our husbands next time.

Steve & Cathy were charming hosts with a lovely home. The rooms were spacious and clean; the bed was very comfortable. The property is easy to reach from the motorway. I would recommend this B&B to other travellers.

Kathy and Steve welcomed us into their lovely home. The rooms are spotless, the bed comfortable, and private bath. The amenities were great, including bath robes, soft drinks and water, tv, hairdryer. The home cooked breakfast each morning was delicious. It is in Smith Grove, Ky. and close to Mammoth Cave. the only slight draw back is there are no decent restaurants close by, you have to travel to Bowling Green (15 min). However, there are several fast food restaurants within a mile.
Romantic spacious room with a claw foot tub. Inviting comfortable king sized bed with a couch and recliner.
