At over 175 years old, The Historic Brown-Lanier House has been a home, hospital and military headquarters on the banks of the Cumberland River, since its construction in 1830. It is located in historic Mill Springs, Kentucky; nestled between the cities of Somerset and Monticello. Mill Springs, Kentucky was a stop on the Burnside-Monticello Stage, the last running stage coach route in the U.S., and the home of Mill Springs Mill, the largest over-shot grist mill in North America. Enjoy the peace of country living in this Victorian lakeside home, furnished with antiques. Relax on one of our porches, take a stroll down to the beautiful falls below the house, or visit the historic Mill Springs Battlefield. Enjoy an overnight stay in our General's Suite.
