The Master's Suite - bottom floor - easy access. KS bed with attached bath room. Currently a semi-private room. Heavy drapes cover 2 entries. Massive Oak pocket doors are closed at night. Many guests have enjoyed this room.
Sleeps 4 or more-The Jesse James Hideaway is a spacious room with QS bed and an adjoining room (once upon a time Nursery) with 2 twin-size beds. Large, shared bathroom is just down the hall. Very comfortable and spacious. Many girlfriend parties and families have enjoyed this room.
The Lighthouse room is a happy place with great serenity. It was once the first Sleeping Porch in Abilene. Four windows facing west allow for a glorious view of the trees and the sunset. There are 8 windows in total, with a lovely sitting area for reading or watching TV. The large, shared bathroom is just a step outside the door. Many guests have been delighted with this room.
The Wizard of Oz Room is comfy and cozy, yet inexpensive. It is the smallest of the 8 rooms, but has an ultra-comfy QS bed. The decor is a tribute to Dorothy and Toto-the Wizard of Oz. It's shared bathroom, with oversized tub is just next door.
The Wild Bill Hickok Room is named in honor of the Marshall of our town, during the Cowtown Era. It is main floor, easy access with a bathroom/shower on the other side of the kitchen. It's red & gold decor, with stained-glass windows and Terra Cotta colored walls, create a great saloon ambiance. This lovely room is as set at a great value price because it has 2 heavy sets of curtains, rather than doors, currently. Still, the experience is worth it.
Enjoy outdoor living on the beautiful, spacious porch. It is like an outdoor living room. Guests love spending time together over wine or a Margarita, while watching the happenings on Buckeye Avenue.
This very charming and exquisite room was once the Brown family library. Located on the main floor, it has easy access from the street. It has a private bath and all of the amenities of the Presidential Suite, but with a lower price, as it is a semi-private room, but still a delightful stay. Please call to discuss.
